They also have to be guys that can catch a baseball and no Eloys. As for veterans they would have to overpay for them to be part of this organization.

That's the mental illness of trade frenzy. Somehow this process is going to override the long history of failed drafting and developing. We like to return to that pit of vomit with high hopes. Look at other long lasting losing organizations they do the same thing. Any success is also short lived. Winning and losing are habits in pro sports. I have not faith in the rebuild of the rebuild rebuild. It's like trusting a seamstress to overhaul your engine. This biggest challenge is to erase the toxicity of this organization. Who knows how long that will take. I guess that's why you trade for prospects since their goal is to play in the big leagues. No real veteran would ever come here to be a White Sox.

I think the team is on every decent player's blacklist. Sure you will get older veterans where this is the only option than playing in the minors. Then their biggest hope is they get traded to a contender in a exchange for a for pretender. The only one that wins the trade is the player leaving. Losing is a habit. It starts with overrating your prospects and farm system. Next is thinking you can be cheapass and win at baseball. Not everyone is the Rays. The same s%*# teams do the same thing. If you somehow get lucky and land a star player in the draft don't build around them with outsiders but have a hard on over the prospect you get in return. Jerry is not the only owner that lets you know fans can't have nice things. I doubt this will ever be a solid organization in my lifetime. It's a complete 180 from the other team in town. That's not always the case in NY.

there is something very toxic about this organization they we will probably never really know. Of course there was Omar V. incident. This place is not attractive to free agents unless it's ones many teams pass on. So I would think this organization has a tarnished reputation and who knows how long that will last.

I'm more sad than angry how many of these Sox players turned out. There has to be a deep morale issue when you've seen these guys like Robert, TA just phase out. Sure there are injuries but going elsewhere seems to be uplifting. Imagine what it was like for Vargas last year going from the Dodgers to the Sox. The reality is most player don't like to get traded. How many of you had a job transfer that you didn't put in for?
