I never listen to the Sox broadcast. Amazed how the opposing broadcast will tell you more. It's obvious they do their homework.

It's been that way pre Getz and he wasn't exactly good in his previous position either. He got the job because no one really wanted it and Jerry did not want to hear from possible GMs that he sucks as an owner.

Bullpen era never tells a complete story. It's about being clutch. If guy from the pen lets an inherited runner score it's not on them. It doesn't always reflect a team in the standings. But it seems there is no shortage of bad ones. It's the most inconsistent part of any team. Yet I think it foolish to invest a lot of money in one. See Rick Hahn

Only if there is one available 4 years from now. We somehow believe the future is certain, like being competitive again. Other teams do a rebuild of the rebuild rebuild. Some teams are stuck at being bad. Trading today for tomorrow, then tomorrow becomes today. Life would be grand if other GMs overvalued a fan's overvalue of players. We also tend to look at these kids as if they are a finished product.

Who can guarantee that. Hopefully Ishbia is already doing some research. I doubt Jerry would honor any advice.
