  1. Have you ever been a fan of such teams that often fail in the post season? You get less sensitive too it.
  2. with hopes if they do OK it will be trade capital. There's probably more Pauleys out there that maybe they can fix and then trade them
  3. Imagine what his value would be today in the glass arm era.
  4. even below mediocre is expensive these days
  5. So did most of MLB. That's how you lose 100 games
  6. LOL, Brewers are the king of the 90+ win seasons but always fall short in Oct. At some point that loses excitement with their fans and probably most of the MLB fans. People believe in the post season anything can happen. Cheapass seems to fail in the post season. You can crank out stud pitchers but even that will have a valley. The Cubs rarely need to add when the rest of the division is subtracting.
  7. Let's always forget Getz was a failed farm director unless you are into always blaming the guy above
  8. It is sad that White Sox fans have too much in common with Marlin, A's, Pirate fans.
  9. I will evaluate it on Robert's performance with the Mets. I will be looking at it to see if this organization is truly baseball hell.
  10. at least 10 ST invites
  11. take that money and pay for Benintendi to go away
  12. So we lookin at only losing 99 and consider it a victory
  13. allows cheap owners to stay cheap owners
  14. The winning teams viewership has to outweigh the teams who can't have nice things or in a forever rebuild. With price of streaming that will always go up eventually people just stop. I can no longer justify the price of even a spring training ticket. How many people can turn on a TV to watch a game without having an upgrade type package. It still lags compared to the NFL and NBA. Post season wins matter. The Brewers are the best record team that falls short.
  15. that's also what happens when a fan buys a ticket
  16. Isn't it fun to always talk about players we will never get?
  17. filed under they have no clue what they are doing
  18. Waiting for the teams in their division to get weaker.
  19. But this is the White Sox we are talking about,,,,,,,,they don't do such things
  20. not exactly a Sox trademark but more often like the other F word
  21. Moncada had a solid 2025 - how does one define that? He played in 30 games?
  22. As for some fans it always relates to how the Cubs do. Rejoicing in another team's failures - yawn. Competitive should only mean making it to the post season regularly. The Brewers are competitive. Close but not playing in Oct. with expanded playoffs is mediocre. Our bar is always much lower.
  23. I just don't want to walk in those shoes. I'd rather guess at lottery numbers.
