I would hate to be in Hahn's position wrt a mystery team. I mean, if you're dead serious about winning the bidding war for Machado, having the "there's no mystery team" gamble backfiring on you would be devastating So how do you keep from bidding against yourself, and at the same time not allow a real mystery team to swoop in?

if there is a mystery team, as that guy on twitter basically said does lozano tell the sox if they beat their offer? and if he does tell the sox that, do the sox bite or stand their ground? i understand that an agent can do whatever the fuck he wants including flat out lying about fake offers but if he has a legitimate offer from a team that doesn't want it's name disclosed, it would really suck to see the sox lose out in that fashion
