East Region Philadelphia, PA
Big thank you to Northwestern. If they don't choke against Michigan last week. ND might have had to play somebody good last night.

SFA profits a lot from turnovers and ND does not turn the ball over much. ND also does not press and leave them a ton of wide open shots.

USC was only an 8 seed and Cal's best player got hurt, so I don't think that rises to the level of Purdue, MSU and potentially Iowa all losing.

Purdue chokes, MSU chokes, Iowa chokes . . . I'm sensing a theme.

Any NL Central teams still need a starter?

Adam LaRoche retires
Look at the bright side: Now Laroche's daughter actually gets to spend time with her father instead of just the son.

Know how to avoid getting stuck with "new leadership?" Win more than 76 games. If you didn't s*** all over the bed last year, most/all of the new guys aren't here this year.

Who do you believe is MOST guilty in the Laroche situation?
1) Laroche - He needs to understand that no matter how much he wants this and even if the Sox made a verbal agreement to allow it--it just isn't a good idea 2) Sale - He needs to shut the f*** up and worry about pitching 3) Other players - Disputes between another player and management are none of your business

Yeah I should have paid attention to where the games were played. Probably would have picked Gonzaga and Providence instead of Seton Hall and USC.

I also had Yale. Need Purdue to pull through to go 8 for 8 in the afternoon session.

Your new Supreme Court nominee is....
President can withdraw the nomination, right? I have to figure he does that right before the election.

Yes, except that the fans liked Baines, Thomas and Fisk. I doubt the fans care enough about Laroche to get upset by this. If the money saved brings in a key piece via FA or trade, they'll care even less.

I refuse to stoop to judging candidates on the basis of who supports them. I'm not voting for Trump because he's a pompous ass and I don't agree with his policy positions. I don't care if his supporters are white supremacists or black lesbians.

Post your final four
Michigan State over Kentucky Texas A&M over Kansas Michigan State over Texas A&M My 6 year old daughter picked Wisconsin because that's where cheese curds are from. My 7½ year old son picked Oklahoma because Texas is dumb. Tom Izzo has made the Final Four in 4 of the 5 years that his teams have been a 1-2 seed, along with twice as a 5 and once as a 7.

As long as the Sox didn't make this decision with the intention of forcing Laroche to retire, which from everything I've read it sounds like they didn't, then I'm 100% fine with this, even if they did give some sort of verbal agreement to let the kid be around all the time. The Sox have every right to make a policy change if they believe that it will have a positive impact on the team. And I'm fine with Laroche's decision, so long as it doesn't end up getting his teammates all pissed at management over this.
