White Sox sign Jimmy Rollins
Rollins has fairly even splits, I was looking at it more from Saladino's side. Saladino is much better vs LHP than vs RHP.

Call me cold-hearted, but I don't find stories about people who kill themselves with drugs to be heart-wrenching.

White Sox sign Jimmy Rollins
Any chance that Saladino start vs LHP and Rollins vs RHP, at least for the first few weeks to see how they're doing?

Explosions at Brussels airport
Does anybody think that the more recent attacks in Europe are because better security has made attacks in the US more difficult, or is ISIS just targeting Europe for other reasons?

My six year old daughter declared that she wants Wisconsin to win Friday because, "that's where cheese curds are from." I told her that if she wants to taste another cheese curd before her 18th birthday, she may want to reconsider her position. She's now on board with ND for Friday.

MSU would have to do that at least 4-5 more times to earn a Cubs comparison.

Adam LaRoche retires
My guess is that they will bring in retired pitcher Jeff Juden. He is from Salem, MA, so he is a natural for the job.

Adam LaRoche retires
Chris Sale, Adam Eaton and anybody else who's still upset about this need to rent and watch "A League of Their Own" tonight. They need to learn that THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL. Stop acting like little girls and focus on baseball. If their performance suffers this year, I'm not going to be pissed at Kenny Williams, I'm not going to be pissed at Robin Ventura and I'm not even going to be pissed at Adam Laroche. I'm going to be pissed at the players who couldn't man up and do their jobs.

Dating back to the first year of the tournament (1939), the Sweet 16 teams have combined for the exact same number of football national championships as basketball national championships (23).

2016 White Sox Opening Day Roster Predictions
Only for the first couple weeks while they see how guys are doing. You can live with only 3 bench players for up to two weeks.

2016 White Sox Opening Day Roster Predictions
SP: Sale, Quintana, Rodon, Danks, Turner RP: Robertson, Duke, Jones, Putnam, Albers, Jennigs, Petricka, Kahnle C: Avila, Navarro IF: Abreu, Lawrie, Rollins, Frazier, Saladino OF: Cabrera, Jackson, Eaton, Garcia, Sands If the Sox acquire a position player before or shortly after opening day, that guy replaces Kahnle. If not, then either Davidson or Sanchez replaces Kahnle within the first two weeks. Latos on the DL to start the season and eventually replaces Turner.

Soxtalk Bracket Challenge
I'm tied for 4th but have nowhere to go but down. Champion and another Final Four team already out. Best case scenario for me is to have Kansas & A&M get to the Final Four and in the regions where I can't score anymore points to have teams like ND and Syracuse get there that nobody else picked either.

Post a .gif of a ref signalling jump ball, otherwise I'm going with the NCAA over Verne Lundquist.
-
East Region Philadelphia, PA
The bogus charge call on Vasturia was another part of the ref's secret plan to help ND.

The line score on espn.com, which is going by what Verne Lundquist said?
-
East Region Philadelphia, PA
They did foul him. They also fouled Jackson on his last layup and if they had called it, SFA probably has a different offensive strategy on their last possession tied instead of up one. Refs were secretly helping ND by not sending them to the line.

That wasn't called a jump ball.

???

East Region Philadelphia, PA
Yeah, not calling all the fouls on SF Austin on that last sequence was the refs' plan to let ND score on the 3rd tip. Thanks to them for that.

Adam LaRoche retires
If I weren't blindly loyal to the Sox and hadn't been a fan my whole life, I probably wouldn't pay any attention to baseball at all.

Adam LaRoche retires
This is 100% the best take on this situation I've seen.
