  1. Bears are 50 points away from the 1985 franchise record for points scored, and 30 points away from the 1997 franchise record for points allowed.
  2. I'd rather the Bears trade for him than the Sox.
  3. Plus we would finally get a definitive answer to whether it's better for the man or the woman to be on top.
  4. Even better: Have 7 different nacho helmets, representing the last 7 Sox uniforms. Make each one available only during one day of the week. You have to go to a home game on every day of the week to collect all 7.
  5. Yeah, 3rd and long from anywhere between your own 45 and the opponent's 35 is the perfect time for a low percentage long pass.
  6. OK, ignore what I just said about Gillaspie having options left. I just noticed that he got a callup to the majors way back in 2008, and has spent time in the minors in at least 3 seasons after that, so there's no way he has options left.
  7. I believe Gillaspie has options left so he can be sent to AAA. Keppinger is probably gone. Already have Konerko and a backup catcher on the bench, a DeAza/Vicedo LF plattoon, so the last bench spot has to go to somebody who can play 2B, SS and 3B.
  8. I'm going to miss Reed, but that seems like one hell of a haul for a reliever.
  9. That kind of thing happens when you change the rules to make it illegal to tackle the guy with the ball.
  10. There are lots of different ways to dissect plays and coverages to skew the definition of 'scored on'.
  11. Exactly. Even the Yankees, who have an endless supply of championship teams and HOF players to discuss, still found a second team as a partner because ultimately, live games are what drive the ratings of sports networks. If the Cubs could find a way to partner with the Hawks (since I'm assuming the Bulls are out of the question), it's possible, but I still think it's iffy.
  12. Inaction afterwards? She didn't even give it a week. No football player caused anything. It was an unfortunate chain of events that led to a suicide. How many thousands of times every weekend does a college guy start feeling up a girl to begin to see how far he can get? She pushed him away and he stopped trying to go any farther, just like he is supposed to.
  13. I'm never going to believe that a person who is 18+, not a convicted felon, and not mentally ill shouldn't be able to keep firearms in their own home. Beyond that, I believe there is serious need for reform in order to keep firearms out of the hands of minors, felons and the mentally ill.
  14. I'm desperate? A bunch of players start a fight that ends up in three people getting shot? But that's not worse than one player fondling a girl's boob?? Very bizarre standards you have there.
  15. First of all, I think you are confusing 'passer rating' and 'QBR'. QBR has a maximum of 100, so I'm guessing that 102.2 was his passer rating (which is still good). Overall, yes he played a good game. Gotta cut down those interceptions though.
  16. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2011-11...-carle-hospital Only because the shooter sucked at hitting his targets. Of course, I don't bring this incident up every time somebody mentions Illinois. Only assholes do stuff like that.
  17. She didn't snap 'randomly' she had a history of depression. There was also no witness and no physical evidence, two things the Winston case has plenty of. You're the one who is blind, but I guess to be an Illini fan that goes without saying.

    Alright begin

Laces of shoes of the dead should be tied together before burial to help out with this situation.
  19. Terrible idea. NY Metro area has over twice as many people as Chicago, plus the Yankees have another team as a partner in the Nets. Don't forget that games are blacked out outside of the Chicago area, so there is no incentive to get this channel if you live anywhere else.
  20. "It's Obamacare's fault the US didn't win gold."
  21. Christmas Toy Axiom: The number of pieces in a toy a child receives for Christmas is directly proportional to the number of miles the giver of said toy lives from said child.
  22. Since Bowden is no longer there, I probably would have preferred FSU over Auburn.
  23. Yeah, between hockey and curling my wife really hates February every four years.
  24. Bears are now 2nd highest scoring team in the league.
