  1. If you're talking about strictly within the city limits, maybe, but there are suburbs of Detroit I'd pick by far over any area near NO.
  2. If I made a list of major US cities and ranked them in order of how willing I would be to live there, NO might very well come in last. I think I'd pick Anchorage over NO.
  3. Fourth bold move: Turn off the XBox
  4. Not long before hookers become obsolete.
  5. The replay of Alexei's homer was far less conclusive than the one in Cleveland.
  6. OK, original post is fixed.
  7. Yeah, Hanson was scratched.
  8. Barry Enright (RHP) 0-1, 9.00 vs Dylan Axelrod (RHP) 0-2, 3.60
  9. That got mentioned in the game thread, but I haven't seen anything since then.
  10. What is with the umpires this year? There's no excuse for letting that happen.
  11. It would be the same as resuming a game suspended by rain. Lineups remain the same. Any pitchers/players who had already been removed from the game are still ineligible to return.
  12. That's correct. For reference see Brett, G vs Yankees, NY circa 1983.
  13. Geologically the Panama canal divides the continents of North and South America, but culturally Mexico, Central America, and South America are generally lumped together and called Latin America.
  14. This shoudn't surprise anybody--MLB is never going to overturn a judgment call, no matter how bad it was. The only thing that is going to get overturned is a misapplication of a rule.
  15. What they should expect: 1) Strike out a lot of people 2) Walk a lot of people 3) Get injured
  16. Doesn't have Herm anymore.
  17. I don't think he can answer you.
  18. You don't need to write "poor walk rate" when talking about Sox prospects. It's understood.
  19. 3 run lead is a save situation. EDIT: I shouldn't do math drunk.
  20. Twins have 14 runs through 7 innings. That's about 70 innings worth of runs for the Sox.
  21. Wow, Oakland just got totally screwed. Hit a homer with 2 out in the 9th down a run at Cleveland and it was ruled to be in play for a double. Replay clearly showed it was a homer but for whatever reason, umps did not change the call.
  22. Peavy (RHP) 3-1, 3.38 vs Hefner (RHP) 0-3, 4.34
