WI bans certain chants at HS sports events

Funniest thing I've ever heard a student section do. This was at MSU hockey games: Students (at approx. 1:05 left in a period): Hey, Jerry, how much time? PA Announcer (presumably named Jerry): One minute, one minute remaining in the period Students: Thank you. -
Forgot they are $2/ticket not $1/ticket.

Sieve, as in your goalie is one. -
You forgot the exchange rate. 115.8% Canadian is only 85% American.

This is what I'm going with: Qui-Gon Jinn had a twin brother who was separated at birth. Snoke is the twin's grandson, who was serving in the Imperial Army at the time of the Battle of Endor when he discovered his true lineage. He developed his force powers on his own based on knowledge he had gleaned from his interactions with Darth Vader before his death.

If you can afford 292,301,338 tickets, you're a guaranteed winner. As long as there isn't more than one other winner, you can take the cash option and still profit. Of course, in addition to affording all the tickets, you have to have about 900,000 hours free in order to buy them all, and that's assuming that you already have all the combinations filled out on forms.

I think in general, college teams are coaching their KO return teams poorly. Touchback in college starts you at the 25, not the 20. It's almost never a good idea to run it out of the end zone, even if you're only a couple yards deep. I'd love to see data on the average starting position for all kickoffs run out of the end zone. -
Dexter Fowler as a secondary option

In CF. Sox would not be using him in CF. He's still going to be a huge upgrade over Avi. -
I'm surprised the league allows this.

The model was undervaluing those things back in 2005 and still hasn't adjusted. -
Dexter Fowler as a secondary option

It's hard to compare the two because Cespedes has played mostly LF and Fowler CF. Cespedes is a better LF than Fowler is a CF, but I think Fowler might be a tad better in LF than Cespedes. Oh and gold gloves are probably the worst possible accolades to use to make any argument. Jeter was still winning gold gloves while he was close to the worst SS in the AL. -
If you could go back in time and take back one pitch you threw, which would it be and why? – Sal That's about the dumbest question you could ask him. Answer should be obvious.

It's not at all that simple. Yes, talent helps, but it's also very dependent on the head coach putting an emphasis on special teams. -

As it stands now, the Cubs are losing their 1st and 2nd round picks. When somebody signs Fowler, they would get a comp pick which would become the second pick they lose and they would get their 2nd round pick back. Sox have a comp pick, so that is the pick they would lose by singing Fowler. The advantages to Fowler is that he is a higher OBP guy, is a switch hitter, would be cheaper than and would probably be a bit better corner OF than Cespedes. He's not good enough in CF to displace Eaton. Cespedes gives you better AVG and far better SLG plus does not cost a pick. I'd rather have Cespedes, but if the price difference is huge, Fowler is worth it. -

Clemson was the best team over the entire season. Bama and OSU figured out their offenses their last two games and at that point became better than Clemson. For Bama that was good enough, for OSU they needed to do it one game earlier. -

OSU should probably be 3 over Stanford, but does it really matter? TCU and Ole Miss got way too much credit for beating weak teams in bowl games. -
I took a five day "boot camp" class that was entirely aimed at passing the exam. Mine was paid for by my employer, so I don't know the exact cost but I'm guessing about $2K. After the class, I put in about 2 hours of studying for two days and then 4 hours the night before the test. I really didn't have time to study more and only passed at the minimum level.

The conditions are nowhere as bad here, but people here believe it's just as bad.

OSU was the best I saw all year by far. You should never bother trying to run a kick out of the end zone against OSU. Clemson is bad, but not too far from the norm. -
At ND we learned that 1 is not between 3 and 20.

I guess if you're a Steelers or RedHawks fan, the acceptable limit is somewhere between 3 and 20.
