  1. Anybody know of any sites that are giving odds for a Michigan State football-basketball double NC?
  2. That's the exact line in ROTJ. So, yeah, if they actually cut up the line and rearranged it, it could have been the same, but I think this was a new line that was either always intended for Episode 8 or originally in Episode 7 and then later cut. In the trailer, the light saber is getting handed to Rey right as Luke's voice is saying "You have that power too." If she really isn't related then that's terribly misleading.
  3. The line isn't exactly the same. Even so, they are implying that there is another member of the family. It wouldn't make sense for Luke to be saying this to Kylo Ren, since he already knows both that he has force powers and is related.
  4. Yeah, he did say "has" and not "had". That was my poor memory before watching it again. Still, we know that dead Jedi can interact with the living in spirit, so I wouldn't read too much into that. It's definitely Luke's voice.
  5. Starts at 0:34 Most definitely Luke speaking, and the line was most definitely not in the movie. That's why I was shocked there wasn't another 5 minutes at the end of the movie because I was certain this line was coming.
  6. That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I can't imagine Brady was very happy with his coach taking the ball out of his hands.
  7. If he really isn't that bad, then someone would take him and pay at least half his salary. If he really is that bad, then it's worth shoving him to the LR position if Mark will sign.
  8. Buehrle 4/Johnson 5 is significantly better than Johnson 4/Danks 5.
  9. What would it take to get him back to Chicago for a year? $6M? Would love to get Danks out of the rotation.
  10. He's past his prime and his O-line is in pretty bad shape. Plus Arizona and Carolina look like perennial NFC powers and Minnesota is up and coming.
  11. There is a line in the trailer (which was NOT in the movie) where Luke says, "The force is strong in my family. My father had it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power too." The only thing I can figure is that this is a line from the beginning of Episode 8 spoken by Luke to Rey. Either that or there's a new character we haven't seen yet.
  12. Knowing the difference between kicking off and receiving would be a good start for the Pats.
  13. I think Rodgers has played in his last NFC Championship game.
  14. Well then, maybe he'll say something coherent on Feb. 29.
  15. He's only out 2-3 weeks. So they lose a couple more games than they would have. Not a huge deal, unless he never gets back to 100%.
  16. I don't think there's anyway the Sox sign all three. Plus, that would be a very weird defensive alignment.
  17. WTF happened in this game. I was at Star Wars, checked the score right before the movie and ND was up 16. Come out of the movie, check the final and see that ND lost by 7!
  18. Didn't you hear Han: "Let's blow it up. There's always a way to blow it up."
  19. Now everybody is expecting Rey to be Luke's daughter, so I think that's the plot twist in the next movie that she isn't. Plus, it's against the Jedi code to have relationships--it's what lead to Vader becoming Vader so I don't buy that Luke has a kid. I'm betting that Rey is Leia's daughter.
  20. I really liked Kylo Ren. Also, I don't think he was intended to be able to hold a candle to Vader.

    Alright begin

X-wing fighters are prominent in the Star Wars movies.
  22. Backloading the deal is an option, but that could also be a holdup as to why an OF hasn't been signed yet. The targeted OF might want more overall dollars in exchange for backloading the deal, and/or may be waiting to see what other offers come about if all the Sox can offer a backloaded deal. In the meantime, the Sox try (though very likely futilely) to move Danks or LaRoche to free up money so a deal doesn't have to be backloaded.
  23. I don't get a choice of specific stocks. There are five options. One is government securities (never loses money). One is tied to bonds (very rarely loses money). The other three are different stock funds. One comprised mostly of S&P components, one comprised mostly of DJIA components, and one comprised mostly of foreign components. I can have any percentage of my portfolio in any of the five options, but any time I increase the percentage in the securities fund, that amount is locked there for 30 days.
  24. As someone who has lived very near both cities, I can fully understand why somebody who enjoys living in Cincinnati would not want to move to Washington.
