Honestly, both of them have better wins than Alabama. There only team in this week's playoff rankings that they've beaten is #21 Mississippi St., who drops out of the rankings if they lose to Mississippi, and by the time Florida loses to FSU and then Alabama, they'll barely be ranked. Committee doesn't have the balls to leave the SEC out of the playoff though.

How many cops were there? If there were a dozen or more, and only one of them thought to shoot, that looks pretty bad. Going to be hard to argue that he was justified. If there were only a few there, it still could very well not be justified but he at least has a better argument.

This is a judgment call and thus not reviewable, but the official needs to have a better grasp of the game situation to understand that a receiver is never giving himself up in bounds in that situation.

When you have a lot of talent, minor league ball is often easy. You don't have to work real hard to succeed. When you get to the majors, it gets a lot harder.
