  3. The AL has won all three 14-inning World Series games.
  4. How many players have rings with 3 different teams?
  5. NO SHUTDOWN UNTIL AT LEAST OCTOBER 2017!!!!!!!
  6. I am 100% against concealed carry for dogs: http://www.indystar.com/story/news/2015/10...-foot/74626450/
  7. I had just moved from Oak Park to the DC area in April of 2005. Very excited to see the Sox win but a bit bummed that I was so far away when it happened.
  8. Well, one of the two teams did win their conference last year.

  10. It would have been if the Astros had scored 2 runs on the 26th.
  11. The key here is that the option decision has to be made before there is time to pursue any FA or trade options. That makes it more likely that the option is picked up.
  12. That's a possibility. I just think Sanchez would handle the position change better. In 10 seasons Zobrist has only started 5 games at 3B.
  13. If you have Zobrist at 2B, that makes up for Sanchez' weak bat at 3B.
  14. No, I'm talking about 1-loss teams that either lose or aren't in conference title games, like possibly MSU, Iowa or LSU. You could have 0 or 1 loss champions in the ACC, BIG and SEC and 2 loss champions in the Big 12 and PAC 12. Then you have ND battling other 1-loss non champions for that 4th spot.
  15. If ND beats Stanford (which as of now I would not expect) and Stanford ends up the PAC-12 champ, then that does jump ND ahead of at least one conference champ. Big 12 champ could still have two losses so that gets ND ahead of a second conference champ. Then you would have ND battling 2nd place teams from the SEC and BIG for that 4th spot. ND deserves to beat out a 1-loss MSU or Iowa but probably not a 1-loss LSU. ND needs all SEC non-champions to have 2+ losses. It would be really sad if ND runs the table and misses out on the playoff because of a dumbass coach who sucks at math.
  16. Fall is my favorite season. Humidity and temps go down, there is football on weekends. I try to pick a day as close as possible to peak color and just spend the entire day driving around, trying to cover as many new roads/places as I can.
  17. Personally I hope the Sox sign Zobrist and Sanchez and Saladino split time at 3B.
  18. I don't really have strong feelings for or against either team. I guess I lean slightly towards the Mets because maybe the Royals winning gives them extra momentum for future seasons that I wouldn't want a division rival to have, though them winning would bother me far less than any of the other three division rivals.
  19. I can't believe Hillary let Bill that close to Katy Perry.
  20. Were they predicting what the Final Four will be or what they think it should be as of now? As of right now having both in is realistic (though I have MSU 5th). A 1-loss MSU team has no chance at the playoff. A 1-loss OSU team has a slight chance but it would take an awful lot of upsets.
  21. Jimbo Fisher learned from the master of everything that's wrong with college football. He was well trained.
  22. 1 Clemson 2 LSU 3 Ohio State 4 Baylor 5 Michigan State 6 Iowa 7 TCU 8 Oklahoma State 9 Alabama 10 Notre Dame Way too early playoff/bowl projections: Orange: Ohio State vs Stanford Cotton: Clemson vs Alabama Sugar: LSU vs TCU Rose: Michigan State vs Utah Fiesta: Oklahoma vs Notre Dame Peach: Iowa vs Memphis
  23. Sale is a Top 5 pitcher in all of MLB. Hard to have a higher ceiling than that.
  24. I stopped paying attention to the NL this year when it started becoming all about the Cubs. I guess I missed a big story there.
  25. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/compensa...gton-nationals/ So it appears that he's actually owed $8M in 2016 plus another $3M deferred in 2017. EDIT: Also just noticed that he can block deals to 17 teams.
