From a purely statistical standpoint, LaRoche's contract is worse than Papelbon's. Unless Papelbon is some sort of clubhouse cancer that is negatively affecting other players, that trade would do absolutely nothing for them. It's a trade the Sox should do without hesitation if offered. Worst case scenario, you can always bury a reliever, even an expensive one, at the back of the bullpen. You're pretty much forced to give a substantial number of PA to a big money position player. There's less flexibility.

Very few teams get much hitting out of the C and SS positions. Sox need to upgrade at least two out of 2B, 3B, DH and RF.

ND often starts the season overrated, but by Week 5 they have usually played at least two highly ranked opponents, so their Week 5 ranking is generally far more accurate. You should actually try learning things about ND rather than just reflexively making negative statements about them.

Bathrooms on the lower concourse are bad. Upper concourse ones are nicer. I'm not one who cares about scoreboards/amenities/etc. at sporting events. The game is entertainment enough for me.
