I think the theory is that Trump supporters are more likely to vote for Cruz than Cruz supporters for Trump, and at least to a certain extent the polling bears that out, though I agree it doesn't make much sense. None of this makes sense anymore. Just throw the 100 Senators and 50 governors' names in a hat and draw out two to be President and VP. It would have to be better than Hillary or Trump.

I think there are really two different questions here. One is whether or not Hillary did anything that she should be charged criminally for. The second is whether or not she exercised judgment that was so poor that it ought to impact her as a Presidential candidate. I believe that the second category is much broader than the first.

I look at how Gonzalez progressed through the game and he only allowed 2 infield singles in his last two innings. I'm all for giving him another start, but they really can't let both Gonzalez and Danks stay in the rotation for another round. It gets to the point where it takes away starts from the other four.

I'm a believer and Cruz' platform doesn't ring home with me either. Christian evangelicals are turning people away in droves by trying to force their (our) religious beliefs on others. I except abortion from this, because I believe abortion is a life issue and not a religious issue, and I really wish that the majority of pro-life people weren't also anti-gay and anti-poor.

2008 did not generate the buzz that a playoff trip would generate this year. In 2008 it was a team that was supposed to do better. This would be more like 2005, even without the WS trip.

Those other things are not cheating in the game, so I don't see how taking away wins is applicable, but all of them should have been and should still be locked up in prison.
