I've never seen anything of the sort. That also doesn't explain the employees who admitted to underinflating balls.

They had evidence of using illegal footballs in a playoff game. That's enough to vacate their playoff win.

Flat tax is an awful idea. I like the idea of simplifying returns, and lumping a bunch of exemptions and itemized deductions into a single fixed deductions, but we need to still have brackets.

It's essentially telling people that that the government should take care of them completely and they have no accountability of their own. "You're perfect and your life still sucks! The government should do more!"

Gavin Floyd is a reliever? Really? -
"If you're doing everything right, but find it harder and harder to get by, you're not alone." -Bernie Sanders commercial So for all you perfect people out there who never do anything wrong, Bernie's you guy!!

Great, let's just let everybody cheat without punishment. Bears should plant cameras in the visitors locker room so they can know what the other team is saying before the game and at halftime. Bug the headsets too. Anything goes. But I do agree that Brady shouldn't have been suspended. What really should have happened was their entire 2014 season vacated, but a 4-game suspension is at least something.

Lots of ND fans don't believe that. Most that I know don't believe that. I don't believe it was a misunderstanding. I do believe that the AD should have been held mostly responsible though, since he was the "highest ranking" person on site that day.

BP's playoff odds are heavily biased towards good defensive teams. Cleveland, Tampa and Boston are all off to mediocre starts but BP projects them to be 3 of the 4 best teams in the AL the rest of the season mostly due to FRAA numbers > 30. I just don't think defense alone can pull you out of mediocrity.

Fortunately for Avi, there is not an obvious candidate to replace him. If guys like Jason Coats, Travis Ishikawa and Carlos Sanchez weren't the best options, Avi probably would have been sent down by now. -

He sure as hell wouldn't have a 3-0 record on the Sox with that ERA. -
Yeah, on the Democratic side, I'm far closer politically to Hillary than Bernie, but with Hillary's past I don't trust her and could never vote for her. Also, I recognize that Bernie's farthest left ideas will never get by Congress so that makes me more willing to consider him.
-
An opinion held by Patriots fans, Michigan fans and virtually nobody else.

I agree that the candidates themselves have been more substantive on the Democratic side (though Kasich had remained almost entirely substantive until just recently), Bernie and Hillary supporters by and large have fallen into the same mudslinging the the Republicans have.
-
I've been planning to vote for Kasich all along. If there weren't downticket races on the Republican side that I had major interest in, this news might be enough to get me to switch over to the Dem primary and vote for Bernie.
-
Awesome.

http://www.indystar.com/story/news/politic...trump/83483402/ This is the first time Kasich has done anything like this. To me, this means he is giving up on his own chance at winning and will ask his delegates to support Cruz once they become unbound.

That's a pretty sound strategy for a baseball team.

Cleveland outdrew us? Attendance down 13% so far
cabiness42 replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
A good percentage of ticket sales are full and partial season ticket packages, so attendance is going to be low all year. It will pick up some after Memorial Day if the Sox are still in or near first, but even if this team wins 95 games the attendance will not move accordingly. It will have quite the effect on next year's attendance though. -
Miguel Gonzalez getting called up, Danks skipped

If he bombs so bad he has to be let go he probably clears waivers anyway, so I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about whether or not he has options. -

Sounds like there is going to be a 6-man rotation at least one time around. -
I'd love to see both teams get as far behind the Sox as possible, even if it means KC winning.
-
The clubhouse has been upgraded as a result of his absence. I think the team's attitude has been changed and it at least a part of why they are winning. The time will come to spend the money though. Nobody is dumping contracts in April.
