  1. Let's see how the ACC schedules them next year. They could load Duke/UVa/UNC/Louisville up in the first half of the schedule to really make the punishment sting or they could load those teams up in the second half to make the punishment softer.
  2. I've said from the beginning that this was a "bad" police department and that it's always a terrible idea to have a police department whose demographics are so far misaligned with the community's, but I've also said from the beginning that Wilson was not acting improperly in this particular case. I have no problem with people continuing to be very angry at that police department, but they really need to leave Wilson alone.
  3. Notre Dame locked up the #3 seed last night. Looks like they play Thursday night at 9.
  4. I would like to see an interview with Brooks Boyer. And I would like you to ask him if I could get a refund for the money I spent on two years' worth of season tickets to watch him play s***ty basketball on a s***ty team.
  5. Joe Lunardi's Bracketology update just released: Iowa up to a #7 seed Ohio State down to a #8 seed IU/Purdue both still #11 seeds, but IU now in play-in round and Purdue out of it.
  6. We are in the middle of a 24-hour transition from 62 degree temperatures to snow accumulations of 6-8".
  7. LOL @ "Shirts" & "Skins"
  8. As a city to LIVE in, Cleveland >>> Detroit, but as a city to visit for a couple days for fun, Detroit >>> Cleveland.
  9. I've never been to Cleveland. It's high on my list of cities not to visit.
  10. As much as I hate to give credit to Louisville, they did it the right way with Chris Jones.
  11. https://twitter.com/The_HelenKeller/status/...130093730463744 Helen Keller ‏@The_HelenKeller The dress looks black to me. idk.
  12. Also, perhaps pushing the definition of "celebrity" a bit, but Father Theodore Hesburgh, Notre Dame's most well known President, died late last night at the age of 97.
  13. Leonard Nimoy is no longer living long and prospering.
  14. I care less about what color the dress is and more about how she looks after taking the dress off.
  15. I'm seeing a lot fewer seats available compared to the last couple years for the sections I'm looking at. Have previously gotten seats as close as Row 3 in Sections 111-115 and nothing lower than Row 10 this year.
  16. Construction of the Keystone XL pipeline will not affect global warming. I know that for a fact because the ad at the top of this page said so.
  17. The final number is going to be 16 or 17 and I will know for sure by tomorrow afternoon. The group wants to sit somewhere in Sections 111-118, as close to the field as possible. Generally with the discount codes these tickets end up being somewhere around $35. If you think there is a better way than going with the code let me know. (Also let me know when the codes start coming out.)
  18. Q: Why don't the Cubs have a website? A: Because they can't put three consecutive W's together.
  19. I think the key to the Sox success lies in how four key people perform: Danks, Noesi, AGarcia, and LaRoche. I think the rest of the team will either be predictably good or predictably mediocre.
  20. Really needed Duke to lose last night. They have the tiebreaker over ND for the #2 seed in the ACC tournament.
  21. In Brazil, matches were played at 1pm/4pm/7pm local time. If they use the same schedule in Qatar, with the time difference, the last WC match of the day will be ending at 1pm ET, so no overlap with the NFL on Sundays and only one hour with CFB on Saturdays. Could make for some epic weekends, with soccer matches running from 5am-1pm and football games running from 1pm-midnight.
  22. OK, when I get an exact count I will get back to you.
