QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 04:03 PM) Im not blaming them for thousands of years of Holy Wars. Im blaming them for our unnecessary involvement in said Holy Wars. Well blame their predecessors too man. I'm not trying to dismiss what you're saying, but U.S. presidents have been f***ing with the middle east since the creation of Israel. Trump or Clinton will continue that beat as well.

9/19 Sox at Royals
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 03:59 PM) The Sox are 4-21 in the cities of Kansas City, Detroit, and Cleveland. Is it too much to ask for .500 ball in that area?

9/19 Sox at Royals
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 03:58 PM) 5-14 season series. Stellar. What's new... KC kicks the sox ass. To be honest, KC really plays well against the central and bad against everyone else haha. They have a losing record against Cleveland but double digit wins against everyone else.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 01:09 PM) Addison Reed is really good now: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/addison-ree...ew-miller-lite/ 2.5 fWAR this year with a ERA under 2. He made a similar mechanical adjustment to Andrew Miller and is now one of the top relievers in the league this year. and the sox have a injured psuedo 3rd basemen

2016 Republican Thread
QUOTE (raBBit @ Sep 19, 2016 -> 01:17 PM) The majority of the posts in Filibusters come from Hillary supporters. There is next to no one outwardly supporting Trump here. I think people are anti-Trump more than pro-Hillary. The lesser of two evils argument. B/W is an active Trump supporter unless he changed his tune.

2016 Republican Thread
Outside of a few posters, I think most of us believe Hillary is a garbage candidate. It's shameful that in 2016 neither party could have produced a halfway decent candidate to run for president. I think it's time to lower the f***ing age.

Clinton will not be any more effective than Obama with the ragingly incompetent congress that's running amok.

Chicago vs. KC 9/16/2016
Robin is so fired. I don't care what the team does in garbage time.

2016 Cubs catch-all thread
QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 11:10 AM) Nothing pisses me off more than casual Cubs fans acting like they've always cared. This so hard. They ruin the fan base more than anything.

2016 Cubs catch-all thread
QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 09:02 AM) Some Cub fans on my FB feed were b****ing how they won the division yesterday. They kept saying it should not have happened this way. Whatever that means. They should have won yesterday against a s*** Brewers team so they could celebrate at the game instead of waiting till near midnight when the Cardinals lost.

CHW vs. Indians 9/14 2016
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 14, 2016 -> 08:40 PM) There was no way IT was going to be caught. Avi had no chance That's why I asked, because someone said that was Avi's fault.

CHW vs. Indians 9/14 2016
QUOTE (chisoxt @ Sep 14, 2016 -> 08:23 PM) Yep that ball should have been caught - too bad our announcers rarely point out stuff like that The Ramirez RBI should have been caught?

The Anthem
if greg's actions in this thread don't convince many he's a troll, I don't know what will.

AL Cy Young
QUOTE (SCCWS @ Sep 12, 2016 -> 09:03 PM) I think Porcello wins it as well. I heard an announcer say this weekend that 20 wins is a big deal because you don't get a lot of 20 game winners like you used to. I also don't think Porcello is a top #1 starter going into the playoffs. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the post season when he is matched against other aces. he will get shelled porcello is garbage.

Why is Beck getting so much time with reinforcements up? I know the game doesn't matter but the guy is complete and utter s***.

Hillary should have stayed in the shadows. What a moronic comment to make. You may not agree with someone's views but it's America, and if someone wants to be "deplorable" that's their prerogative.

2016 Democratic Thread
QUOTE (raBBit @ Sep 10, 2016 -> 10:51 AM) It's never been an issue I've harked on personally but it's certainly an important discussion in states where your vote has a touch of influence. I am from Illinois though so voting is of no concern to me. Yes, I agree combating vote fraud is important but actively trying to disenfranchise a group of voters is wrong. As you know, I'm black and get sick and tired of these old white f***ers trying to continuously screw over minorities because they think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Set up a biometric scan with your SSN if you really want to combat voter fraud but that would cost too much money. I mean you have f***ing register to vote to in the first place and have your voting card. When I went to vote in the primaries it was all electronic and you had to insert a card that had all of your information on it. How the f*** would someone be able to come in and vote twice like that brett guy was saying. It's not some liberal conspiracy like he claims it's just old whitey trying to do what old whitey has been doing since the start of America.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Sep 10, 2016 -> 10:32 AM) Okay. We're one the same page then but you beg the question, what are any of us trying to accomplish here? Good point haha I'm not a liberal but ultimately, suppressing the right of people to vote is wrong. I just don't understand how some "patriotic" Americans think it's ok to do.

QUOTE (raBBit @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 11:53 AM) You singling out that poster, when he's going back and forth with StrangeSox of all people, and not even mentioning StrangeSox's partisan bias says a lot about your own bias. SS is what he is at this point. I don't know this brett05 guy and I don't understand what he's trying to accomplish.

brett05 it's really difficult to have a proper discussion when your posts ooze of partisan bias. I mean you're fitting the stereotypical republican type to a tee! It sounds like you want to believe what you want to believe and that's your right of course. So basically, it sounds like you want to lecture people. Am I off base here?
