The Ventura obsession here is a little excessive. Nobody's really doing anything dramatically different than what you'd expect given their career numbers and random deviation. I like Hahn but his poor decisions have effected this team more than Robin's in my opinion.

I know everyone loves the Frazier trade but I just checked out Montas's stats since coming back from injury for the Dodgers. Between AA and AAA: 16.0 IP, 22K, 3BB, 2.25 ERA. Could end up being 12 years of a quality OF and a no. 2 starter (plus Micah who has been bad) for 2 years of a quality 3B.

This whole 'change the speed of your fastball' version of Sale is bulls***. That pitch was 89mph. How about just throw your fastball at 95 and then your changeup.
