I have also had several meetings...mostly with local sports guys. Met the entire '93 Blackhawks, Most of the 2002 team, most of the 2000 team, Steve Larmer, Doug Wilson...the list goes on. Rode in a golf cart with Darren Pang at one of Kevin Matthews golf outings. At that same outing I met Barry Williams(Greg Brady), Danny Bonaduce, Kev, Pat Foley & Dale Tallon. Also met Steve & Garry, Brandmeier, Coppock, Buzz Kilman and Mr. Jimmy Shorts. In football, Da Coach, Dan Hampton, Butthead(Kevin Butler), Matt Suhey, Tom Thayer and several others from the '85 team. Michael Jordan was at a golf outing and we went out there at lunch and he saw us with ties on and told us to "get back to work". Met Steve Maltais of the Wolves at the same course. Met a bunch of the AVP players in the late 80's early 90's. Got pictures with Karch Kiraly and heckled the crap out of Smith & Stoklos. I thought Stokie was gonna come into the crowd and beat my ass. I know I am forgetting some, but ...

When this guys lists Gary Thorne as one of the top hockey announcers in the U.S., it shows he is clueless. Thorne is a hack who is way too over the top with everything. I could give a crap about what this guy says about any announcers. Hawk is our guy, so of course we like him...just like the minor leaguers love Chimp. Is he a great announcer...No.

The way I hear about alot of the signings is thru www.CSAC.biz They list out alot of the autograph signings in the area. Go there and see who is going to be where. Carlos is listed as being in Chinatown tomorrow, but they didn't give any details.

Over the next month, they will go away. They are finally playing some teams over .500(Besides us and we know how that has went!).

Possibly. They are looking to do a lineup re-shuffle in a few weeks and initially he was slated to do the evening shift, but from what I have heard that is now in jeopardy. He may be gone entirely. The last week or so he has really been a bastard and only talked Cub. I have heard of several Sox fans who called in to be put on hold and eventually disconnected and others are able to get in to ask a question, get a 10 second answer and then Murph somehow relates it back to cub and then talks about that for another 45 minutes. You can sense it in his voice that "He Gone". He used to be tolerable because Fred did add some balance, but now Murph just doesn't care and is not letting him.

He is an upgrade, but I hope this isn't the #1 defenseman we were promised. He will do a good job and will clear the crease.

I got caught up in the "Walk this Way" hysteria around RUN D.M.C. at that time. I liked/like them, but I didn't get into much of the other rap from the time. The Fresh Prince was OK too. I recently bought "Raising Hell" on CD and I did find it king of annoying now.
