Stupid Cubs Fan wanting attention, some1 go write a bad review about their main fan site.
  2. Could it be a panic sign from Detroit already? Da Blues hav neva had a betta chance to take advantage.
  3. No way Texas takes back that many high priced contracts. They've finally learned the wisdom of young cheap pitching.
  4. cs1 I've offered u a trade. If anyone wants to talk trades, just talk to me on MSN. My E-Mail address is in my profile.
  5. Sorry if it's been posted already, I'm too lazy to check The Ozzie Way Quite an interesting read, here's the last line. "It's a tricky thing, hiring a manager. But if I were doing the hiring, I think I'd steer clear of the legacies. The stakes are too high to let sentiment muck things up."
  6. If Pudge plays a bit of 1B and DH next year, which lets Olivo still grow as a Catcher, and we ship out Konerko and Koch, then maybe just maybe we mite hav a remote chance of signing him, if he comes at a discount for playin for Ozzie. Who's his agent? Hopefully, not Scott Boras.
  7. Also those jerks from ESPN still hav Nardi Contreas listed as the White Sox's Pitching Coach, even though they've listed Ozzie as the new manager. Idiots. White Sox Roster
  8. What do YOU want out of a 6 million dollar hitter? As much as players get paid today, even with the market taking a downturn, I think if we got the same production from someone as Carl gave last year, 6 mill would definitely be worth it. You've also got to remember that "we" didn't get all that much production out of him. Texas did, in the first half. Yeah I know he hit bout 16 homers in Texas, here's what he hit for da White sox when he joined em. In 73 games, he hit .301, with 10 homers, 41 RBI's, and a .377 OBP. Also he was born in Tampa, FL which I neva knew, so hence the rumors of him goin home to play for the Devil Rays.
  9. Oh please, oh please can we get Miguel Cabrera. I'd be a very happy White Sox fan if we could.
  10. Any1 know any millionaires who give some donations to raise payroll if they're gonna pay Jose (I'll strike out 3 out 4 AB's) Valentin $5 mill?

  12. That's absolutely terrible. My best wishes go out to all of his family and friends. That's the last thing Cincinatti needs, he was lighting up the Arizona Fall League as well. Gees there's been lots of deaths and injuries with sports stars this year hasn't there.
  13. Jose Cruz Jr.? C'mon look at da playoffs ppl.

    Koch

He'll be a Met, cos Rick Anderson and Art Howe luv a workhorse like him.
  15. Chicago White Sox Decisions, decisions: GM Kenny Williams says he would like to keep the entire team together (why, you might ask), but it appears that workhorse starter Bartolo Colon will be gone after turning down a $36- million offer over three years. Reliever Flash Gordon also could be gone, because several teams need relievers. Free agent Roberto Alomar is expected back, but not outfielder Carl Everett. What they need: If Colon leaves, they need a front-line starter to take over his innings. The White Sox have long coveted Sidney Ponson, now a free agent, and Andy Pettitte. They also could use some speed (return of Mike Cameron?) and some bullpen help (what team couldn't?). Website
  16. Please No, please don't tell me that's rite. C'mon I'd rather sign Ozzie Smith or sum1 from this board to play for less than a million than pay Jose $5 mill. KW's gotta hav a long hard look at himself if this is indeed true.
  17. I don't hav it on PS2, but I've been meanin to giv it a go Online on PC sum time.
  18. #1 I don't like this move cos they fired Marshall Johnston, making it now almost a certainity that Dean Lombardi will be the next GM. I don't mind firing the other guys but not Johnston, he built Ottawa into a weiner, oops I meant winner. CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks, who appointed Bob Pulford interim general manager last month when they fired Mike Smith, took the "interim" tag off Pulford's title Wednesday as part of a front-office realignment. The Blackhawks hired television and radio analyst Dale Tallon as assistant general manager. He replaces Nick Beverley, who was fired along with three other members of the team's front office. For Tallon, the announcement marks his second time in the Blackhawks' front office. A 10-year NHL defenseman with Vancouver, Chicago and Pittsburgh, Tallon served four years as the team's director of player personnel. "Dale has had experience in the scouting end of the business and he has done a very good job," Pulford said. "We think his hockey knowledge will be a great benefit to the Blackhawks in all areas." The Blackhawks, off to a 5-5-3 start, also fired Marshall Johnston, director of player evaluation; Bill Lesuk, director of amateur scouting; and Joe Yannetti, director of pro scouting. Replacements for Johnston, Lesuk and Yannetti have not been hired yet. Tallon had a hand in drafting Steve McCarthy, Pavel Vorobiev, Michael Leighton and Tuomo Ruutu, all of whom remain with a team that has made the postseason just once since 1997. "I always felt that I had some unfinished business," Tallon said. Smith lost a power struggle with coach Brian Sutter and was fired. He had just begun his fourth season as GM and his third year working with Sutter, whom he hired in May 2001. But Sutter and Smith didn't see eye-to-eye, and management chose the coach.
  19. Round 1 was a draw. Melo had 14 points on 6-17 FG's, and 6 RBS. King James had 7 points on 3-11 FG's, 11 RBS, 7 AST, 2 STL, and 3 BLK's. James is gonna be an all round monster.
  20. Congrats BeGood, enjoy ur time on da road, and don't forget to crank up da music like I always do.
  21. I did Economics last year, but not enough ppl at my school wanted to do it this year so I couldn't do it. Got no idea about Macro and Micro Economics, that's a bit too advanced for me. We only did Supply and Demand, Interest Rates, Inflation, u know ur basic Economics stuff.

    Grand Theft Auto V

I'd like to see a big variety of gangs, like in GTA3. Vice City pretty much had the Haitians and the Cubans, there were the druglords, but I don't exactly consider them a gang. There were no gangs you did side missions for really, like the Diablos in GTA3. I just liked that there were tons of gangs in GTA3. Also, I really really hope they plan on putting more HILLS in the new ones. Vice City was for the most part hill-less, and hills make for the best jumps. Especially that monster hill that led to the jump in Portland on GTA3... my favorite is that. I liked how they Mafia would shoot at you in GTA III towards the end. I think if they put both games together, it would be awesome. Take the best parts of each game. I would like it so you could have more places to go inside of. Maybe a hotel to just spend one night at, instead of buying an apartment. I think it would be super cool if the main character could have multiple scenerios. Like he could choose to do something or not, choose to be super evil or good. Stuff like that, so you could play the game over and over, and it'd never be the same. Exactly, and maybe when u hav cutscenes, you get to pick the dialog of what u want to say for ur character, therefore u can create friends and enemies. And maybe if u meet ppl on da street u can get jobs from them, or u can hire them to do the dirty work for ya, and watch em get killed in da process.
