  1. The Angels have had 11 hits. They probably should have scored more than 4 runs, and they've had 2 errors which allowed the Twins to score.
  2. Not good. Hocking scored on Stewart's grounder to 3rd so it's now 4-4 in the top of the 7th, 2 outs, Rivas on 1st, Mientkewicz batting.
  3. Bengie Molina goes DEEP off Kenny Rogers to left and it's now 4-3 Angels in the bottom of the 6th. Let's just hope that bullpen can hold that lead.
  4. The Reds need all the help they can get at the moment. Luv to have Dunn or Kearns though.
  5. DAMNIT. Weber came in to relieve Sele and Hunter singled to score Matt LeCroy so it's now 3-3 still in the top of the 6th.
  6. How much of a confidence booster will this be if Neal can pull out the victory tomorrow night. U would be feelin good if ur 5th starter in only his 5th game could pull out a victory at the Bronx against the Yanks.
  7. Angels r up 3-2 now in the top of the 6th. In the 5th, Stewart grounded out to first and Pierzynski scored. Tight game.
  8. Yeah it makes us so much more dangerous if guys like Crede, Alomar Jr. and Olivo can get some hits and drive in some runs, so we don't just depend on the 1st half of the order.
  9. Anaheim r beating da Twins 3-1 in the bottom of the 4th. If the Twins lose they'll be 2 and 1/2 games back of us. Anyone want Play by Play?
  10. When he pitches well, he pitches great. Just saw the White Sox and Yankees Highlights on Baseball Tongight and they were analysing Colon's pitching. Against Jason Giambi he had three pitches 98, 98 and then 99 to strike him out. If he keeps throwing fastballs like he did tonight, he will win a lot of games with this run support that we're now getting. Even Robbie hit a home run.
  11. Great work Robbie,a dn no -one ou, i think u can stick a fork in David Wells he's done.
  12. Great chance here for another run
  13. Hey i just saw the score for the first time. 7-2 YES!!! Frank hits another homer and Colon can go a complete game if he doesn't give up any more runs. Great run production by the White Sox though. Things r lookin good, if only KC would lose.
  14. Yeah it's nice to see guys in a team actually playing like a team, and not a bunch of individuals only looking out for themselves. Isn't it amazing to see what a pennant race can do for your club.
  15. Yeah let's hope the Sox get a full house at home every night cos they obviously play well in front of a big noisy home crowd.
  16. If u aren't psychologically strong minded enough to handle the big stage, u just hipe u don't get traded to the Yanks or Red Sox. I mean Boston's new relievers r struggling, and Weaver hasn't never looked the same when he went to the Bronx.
  17. Today's game was huge, now we've got 2 chances to win this series. Let's hope Bartolo and Neal can get the job done.
  18. At least the guy is improving. I know Joe Crede was struggling in the 1st half a bit as well, but with him and Paulie now clubbing da ball around the park beautifully, it has improved and made our offence so much more dangerous, cos now our whole lineup is capable of hitting. At the start of the year it was really only Carlos, Frank and maybe Maggs who were consistently hitting well, hence the losing record.
  19. Yeah I think Anaheim has to pay his whole contract for the season and the next which if memory serves me right is more than the Tampa Bay Devils Rays r paying their starting team (batters and pitchers) this year. I dunno if that's right or not, but it's a lot of money they're forking out to him.
  20. I think Frank Thomas summed it up best when he said KW was one of those old school GM's who's aggresive and has a "Win Now" mentality. This year he's done his job, now it's up to the players to deliver.
  21. Great start by the boys, 2-0 up after the the top of the 3rd, lets hope Cy Loaiza can hold this lead for us.
  22. Out of the 2, who r Boston more likely to keep. If it were Chicago I'd go after Nomar for sure, but I can't see Boston letting him walk. Boy their fans have been suffering a while, and Pedro and Nomar leaving could be the last straw.
  23. Maybe we can call him Lilly or Milly Koch so he's tossing floaties at the plate since he lost his 100MPH fastabll.
  24. How many homers is he gonna finish up with. He's a very streaky guy, where he can go missing and not hit the ball at all to where he ends up clubbing clutch homers all week long. When he's on, he's ON. I don't think he'll make 45, I'll say 42 with a .270 avg. If we could take those numbers at the start of the year for Frank I think we would have all jumped at it straight away.
  25. Boy they don't like playing on the West Coast do they. Maybe they have a fear of flying so far over there or sumthin.
