Next season will be important for Sweeney, although I've got confidence he can do what he needs to do to get himself up to Birmingham by the end of the year. He started coming around in the 2nd half of 2004 anyways, so he should be able to continue on with that form. There's no way Young should be a 3 and Sweeney at 7 though. Sweeney is 2 years younger, was in his 1st season of minor league ball, while Young has played 2.5 years of minor league ball and is still only in low A ball. This got me though about Sweeney;
Young - 66 BB's, 145 K's.
Sweeney - 40 BB's, 65 K's
Give Sweeney 2 more years like Young, and the power will start coming, but he's not even a power hitter. He's more like Jeremy Reed.
