Reed
Can you just imagine if Crede had been included into the deal instead of Reed though. We could have signed Corey Koskie instead of Jermaine Dye, and we probably could have gotten a better package for Lee, because we wouldn't necessarily still need a leadoff hitter, if we gave Reed the chance to do that. This isn't a knock against Crede though, I know a lot of people still believe he can produce one day, whether that'll be with us, I just don't think it will.

NY Rumors about Vazquez
Take out Santana and imagine Minny's ERA. I'm interested to see what happens with the back end of their rotation in 2005? Will Lohse and Silva get better with another season, and will Joe Mays get back to his prior form before his did him arm?

Bulls vs. Pacers thread 12/18/2005
Curry hit double digits in rebounds. Hell must have frozen over.

NY Rumors about Vazquez
As soon as you posted Derek Jeter, that rumor lost all credibility whatsoever.
-
Mulder to the Cards
I think you could easily live with it if you were going to contend for the next 5 seasons afterwards, which is what the A's are going to do.

Brian Urlacher
I voted Yay, although I could come up with a lot of overrated players.

NY Rumors about Vazquez
Cora still had a .345 OBP against lefties and a OPS of .758, which is not bad at all for an infielder. The Sox need to look at either him or Cairo, since Polanco is likely going to be out of our reach financially, and the Cards will probably sign him soon.

NY Rumors about Vazquez
Delgado wants a 4 year deal at $16 million a year. He'll get more than the $50 million 4 year deal that Richie Sexson signed, so unless the Sox make it hugely backloaded, Delgado ain't coming here. Period.

NY Rumors about Vazquez
Most likely Konerko and Marte if it was 2, with Vazquez and maybe Alex Cora coming back in return. Willie Harris could also be an option maybe, but the Dodgers do have a depth of prospects at second base.

Borchard Confident About 2005
Even that quote showed he's still trying too hard.
-
Wade Miller
Houston won't be stupid and non - tender him, they'll figure that could easily get something good in a trade for him most likely, if they can work something out quickly. Their rotation is very injury - prone as well.

Rumors thread
Royals to non tender Asencio; He has a 1.43 G/F ratio in his short major league career so far.

Barry Zito, Mark Mulder
Don't forget about Mulder's chronic hip problem as well. No doubt the Sox if they don't trade for him, will pursue him in FA whenever that is. (2005 or 2006 I think).

Open tryouts for the Sox
We're all rooting for ya Bull, just make sure you impress KW and Ozzie in Spring Training. Are you expecting to make the Knights rotation, or even in the pen, or do you think you could be back with the Barons for the start of 2005?

Remaining FA Starting Pitchers
Not sure about money wise, but he wants a 2 year deal;
