I don't think Pavano will be headed our way. If the Yanks pick up Lieber's option, and sign a FA pitcher like Pavano, they might have to move Vasquez or Kevin Brown possibly.

I think I've heard rumors the Cubs could be interested in Park if the Rangers decide to eat up most of the remaining part of his contract, Mike Hampton style. Park goes back to the NL, it'd be interesting to watch. So there could be 3 trades possibly for the Rangers, but you wouldn't think they'd trade BOTH Soriano and Teixeira, you'd be losing a lot of offensive production right there.

I heard he was still struggling to get over his hand injuries though. Didn't they have another 1b prospect who was hitting really well?

That pleases me the most. My hatred for the Yankees is right up there with Torii Hunter, Jackass Jones and the Twinkies. And the way their fans acted in game 6, and even in game 7 when they chucked balls back onto the field, one almost hitting Damon, doesn't paint a good picture for them at all.

My bet is he'll be trying to go to the new Washington franchise as their GM. I beleive he has family down in that area.

Roberts would be an excellent guy to look at if we miss out on our main outfield targets. If Perez and Borchard weren't around, he'd be the perfect 4th outfielder.
