Why is it all you guys up there can afford real kick - ass 1st cars.
  3. 3 years ago, it's really gone so fast. I was asleep at about 11p.m up here when it happened, but I remember getting up the next morning and my mum telling me america was attacked and then seeing the footage.
  4. I've even stating playing old school GTA 3 on my PS2 again. Can't wait for this game.
  5. Thanx for all the birthday wishes guys. Really appreciate it. Tonight I went and saw my footy team win by 10 points in freezing cold weather in a semi - final, so all in all it was a pretty good day.
  6. How do you get old of a sig in only 2 weeks. :rolly

I'm glad to see Cotts used as well, let's just hope he doesn't give up a bomb.

Shows you how good our rotation could be next season if we sign a top starter and bump Garland down to #5. And Corey Koskie at 3B is looking better by the day compared to Crede.
  9. He'll start the year back in Charlotte for sure next season. He really needs a good start though, but I wouldn't be suprised if he's included in a trade deal to some team like Colorado, where his power numbers would increase.
  10. I think it's almost a given one of Odalis Perez, Russ Ortiz or Derek Lowe will be pitching on the SouthSide next season.
  11. Perez is making $5,000,000 this season and has a 6-4 record with a 3.22 ERA. 37 BB's and 109 K's as well. I don't know how he'd adjust to pitching at the Cell though, he's home splits are far better than his away splits this season.
  12. Lowe will probably be headed to the Phillies or Tiggies this offseason, or stay with the Red Sox. Odalis Perez is a risk considering the amount of innings he's thrown this season, but I think he's almost got the most potential out of most of the FA starters on the market. Another lefty in the rotation would be nice too.
  13. No, I watch it every week when I can. Was Carter the only remaining cast member from the first season as well?
  14. Does it tell you sumthin that Troy Hambrick is now with the Arizona Cardinals backing up Emmitt Smith again. Julius Jones and George will rotate the carries nicely, with ReShard Lee and Richie Anderson there as well.

    Tomorrow

All I can say is I hope the guy who runs it is as exciting as the guide.
  16. Yeah I saw his first AB down here, fly out to center. Any1 see Ichiro's bunt with 2 out with a runner on 2nd, what the hell was Melvin thinkin? Ozzieball or sumthin?
  17. Other things you have to consider if Jerry Manuel was still managing. 1 - Would the likes of Paul Konerko have had comeback seasons if JM was still managing. 2 - Would Juan Uribe have even been given starting time at the start of the year? 3 - What type of season would Jon Garland have had. Better or worse? He was in JM's junkhouse a lot. All in all, the team is better for Ozzie managing than JM. If Frank and Maggs were still healthy, we'd be right up there with the Twinkies.
  18. Any1 know Mota's contract status, by all reports I've heard he'll be in Florida for 2005. He could be closing for them too depending on what happens with Benitez. On Adkins, 2 years ago the trade looked like a bust. Ray Durham a leadoff starting second baseman, for a AAA starter with an ERA in the mid 5's. But now Adkins has proved us all wrong, and has been one of the pleasent suprises this offseason. Him and Cotts will definitely get increased workloads next season and that'll be good for the likes of Marte who has thrown too many innings over the past few years.
  19. I thought that almost looked like Ivan Rodiguez from 5 years ago without the catchers mask.
  20. The Mets didn't want to sign Vlad last offseason because of his so called back injury. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do this offseason with him. My money's on Maggs going to the Giants, Mets, or staying here for a 1 year incentive laden deal.
  21. Something tells me if the Astros make the playoffs and Beltran changes agents, he could actually stay in Houston, but I'd still think he'd go to the Yankees. And no way he'd play RF, Rowand would have to move to RF for us to get Beltran, which ain't gonna happen.
