He's makin $4.2 million this season. Hittin .299 with 8 HR's and 21 RBI's. The Braves are very quickly falling out of the race without Marcus Giles, so expect a fire sale pretty soon if they don't win soon. Drew is a nice LH bat which we desperately need, and could even DH to keep him healthy with Frank rotating more with Paulie if we keep him at 1b. I can't see the Mets dealin Cameron just afta they signed him, he gives them much needed speed in the outfield.

Cameron doesn't hit at a high enough average for me. Love his power and speed, but I don't think he'd want to come back here and play for us. What about J.D Drew?

Aaron Rowand and a prospect for starters. Or Paul Konerko.

    Happy B-Day Eleni! Hope u hav a great 22nd b-day!
  5. Believe me I'm tryin.
  6. DBAHO replied to WSoxShuf's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Harris could play in CF for consistent playing time, I'm all for havin a Harris and Uribe middle infield for the next 5 years, but if we hav a chance to add a bat like Boone in a good deal, we should seriously consider it.
  7. Make sure u post em on SoxTalk. We can hav a FujiFilm SoxTalk day.

I think a more likely guy we could go afta is Bret Boone. Uribe can move to SS next season and we can hav Boone at 2B, if JR is willin to add to the payroll a little.

    So do the Cubs.
  10. If Piazza is catchin, Beltran and Co. will hav a field day stealin bases.
  11. I believe Kotsay's off to a rough start in Oakland right? I think he's platoonin with Bobby Kielty now, with Jermaine Dye and Eric Byrnes off to good starts. So far I think the Oakland - San Diego deal was a lose - lose for both teams.
  12. Not sure bout Hudson but I know Mark Mulder grew up in Chicago and is a big White Sox fan.
  13. I thought I saw an article this week sayin the Twinkies were awfully close to resignin Brad Radke to a 3 year $21 million deal. They'll be able to afford it though if they don't pick up Guzman's $6 million option for 2005 though.
  14. What did Harold Reynolds think? Royals for 1st place still?
  15. Any1 else think A-Row is a great chance to be traded now? I think there's good odds he will be included in a deal for Garcia or Pineiro in Seattle, or to a team like Pittsburgh if we go afta sum1 like Kip Wells.
  16. The demand for Maggs in FA may not be as big as him and his agent think. If the Dodgers get Delgado, and end up resignin him to a long term deal, then I doubt they'll be in the market for Maggs unless they giv up Encarcion. Baltimore would be the otha team that comes to mind but I think they'll be afta some veteran pitchin instead.
  17. Looks like the Scrubs are interested in Freddy now, The Cubs are in contention despite injuries to seven key players, but that doesn't mean team officials aren't looking around for help, especially for the pitching staff. Scouts for the Cubs have been watching the Seattle Mariners, apparently keeping an eye on right-handed starter Freddy Garcia and perhaps other players. With Seattle in last place in the American League West, reports are suggesting the Mariners might be interested in an overhaul. Garcia is 2-3 with a 2.71 ERA after a victory Sunday against the Detroit Tigers. He ranks third in ERA in the AL behind Cleveland's C.C. Sabathia and Boston's Curt Schilling.
  18. If there anyway u can get any .400 Software games wihtout payin for em on the net?
  19. BEGOOD's a big fan, doesn't like Wanny though.
  20. Hav a safe and great trip Queen.

I just got my gas for 99.5 cents a litre, it's been over a dollar for the past 2 weeks, but I thought I heard a news story last night sayin oil prices would be droppin in the next few weeks.
