RIP Stinkus
The only thing I had close to raising a hamster, was mice for a 7th grade science project. We had a male and a female in a cage for 5 weeks, and had to study their behaviour etc. After 3 weeks, they've had 5 babies, but the next day 3 were gone, the mother must hav eaten them.

All You Can Eat?
A COUPLE on a low-carb diet were kicked out of an American buffet restaurant after the manager said they'd eaten too much roast beef. Sui Amaama, who along with his wife have been on the Atkins Diet for two weeks, was asked to leave after he went up to the buffet at the Chuck-A-Rama in Salt Lake City, Utah, for his 12th slice of roast beef. "It's so embarrassing actually," said Isabelle Leota, Amaama's wife. "We went in to have dinner, we were under the impression Chuck-A-Rama was an all-you-can-eat establishment." Not so, said Jack Johanson, the restaurant chain's district manager. "We've never claimed to be an all-you-can-eat establishment," said Johanson. "Our understanding is a buffet is just a style of eating." The general manager who was carving the meat on Tuesday became concerned about having enough for other patrons and asked Amaama to stop, Johanson said. Offended, the couple asked for a refund. The manager refused and called police when they would not leave. The couple said they have eaten at Chuck-A-Rama's $US8.99 ($12.25) buffet at least twice a week, but did not plan to return.

Is Jose in the Dog House?
I just always felt that if Jose wasn't playin, we neva seemed to play well, he seemed to be the emotional leader of the team. I think that's changin now, not that that's a bad thing.

Is Jose in the Dog House?
Royce Clayton - Couldn't hit the ball at all with us, liability in the lineup with his hitting. Funny thing is he's hittin #2 in Colorado's lineup. Tony Graff - Good bench player, but not an everyday player like Uribe is now. Only hit well against LH pitchin as well. Wish he was still here, but not at the price KC paid him.

Is Jose in the Dog House?
And now with Uribe playin the way he has, Valentin can afford to actually rest for 15 days and get his hamstrings right. I'm not sure he would hav been able to do that in the last few years.

Exactly, and Luis Gonzalez seems to be beatin out Miles for playin time lately. It was high risk for both teams, but both teams look to hav gotten sum reward, us more than them.

Ponson
Pitching in a hitters park doesn't help much, still that's where he's best results have been, and the Orioles need him to perform to help out their bullpen.

Juan Uribe News
White Sox SS Juan Uribe might falter once A.L. pitchers start throwing him breaking balls, but he has been one of the team's most pleasant surprises. To Royals G.M. Allard Baird, Uribe looks like a young Neifi Perez. Baird says of Uribe and 2B Willie Harris, "Those two kids create some energy, not only defensively, but offensively." . . . Inside Dish

Has anyone else never been to a Sox home game?
Never, but if I ever go to America I want to at least see U.S Cell. I'd luv to see a game at Camden Yards, PETCO Park or the San Franscico Park (SBC Park?) as well.

Submit your questions for Knights players
To Joe Borchard, Have things been turning around for you in the last few games? What are you doing to try and cut down your strikeouts and get on base more? To Bryant Nelson, Have your performances so far exceeded your expectations? Do you think you have a chance to be promoted at the end of the season e.g Aaron Miles

Knights In the Midst of a Slump on the Field
Just found this little snippet on Reed, Charlotte, NC Few players generated more buzz this spring than Jeremy Reed. Popular opinion was that if he didn't make the White Sox roster out of camp, then whoever started in center field on opening day would just be keeping the position warm for him. He was sent down, but a trip to the minors has done little to silence his bat or the hype. Through 14 games at Triple-A Charlotte, Reed is hitting .373 with five stolen bases in as many tries. Last year at Double-A Birmingham he hit .409 with 18 stolen bases. With Aaron Rowland stuck on three RBIs and nobody else producing at that position for Chicago, Reed's much-anticipated debut may not be far off. AL-only owners should keep a close eye on his progress.
