Do u think that if Toronto doesn't win this game or tomorrow's, that J.P Riccardi will fire Carlos Tosca?

HE GAWN!!!

Big time 3 run shot there by Miggy, and we're sumhow still in this game. Let's hope Adkins keeps us close.

Hope u hav a great time, Camden Yards is a great place to see a ball game, let's hope u bring sum good luck and a winning series.
-
Yeah he needs to work more on his plate discipline, 3 BB's and 12 K's is not a good stat to hav, but Reed's hittin betta off lefties this year as well, which was one of his minor weaknesses last season if he had 1.

Would you take 3 runs each outing from your 5th starter though? I think almost every team in the majors would, 3 runs gives you an excellent chance of winning. -
And the way we've hit so far. Only Uribe is hitting consistently so far, every1 is hitting well in bunches, if we want to continue to win, we need to put runs on the board consistently, not 11 runs 1 game, and 1 the next.

The White Sox making the playoffs and Frank hittin well in the post season would do no harm either.

With the way Texas is playin rite now I'm not even sure Texas will trade him. They couldn't get Kazmir from the Mets for him, and they'd want a stud pitchin prospect AT LEAST for him. I'm not sure any team would actually do that now with the importance of young pitching.

I'm a Southsider, I liv in Southern Australia, isn't that good enough.

I'm prob goin to hav to relocate if I want to work for a sports franchise, I'm goin to try and study ova in America next year, but money wise it's goin to be pretty hard. Hopefully it'll all work out though.

This is why if we pursue a trade for any1, it should be a LH power hitter. I'd be willin to trade Carlos for one, and KW will definitely target this in FA this off - season.

Here's an article about Liefer's adventure from the Associated Press I found, The wait for the bathroom never was supposed to be this long. But that's what happened when former big leaguer Jeff Liefer got locked inside a dugout bathroom, forcing a 20-minute delay in Thursday night's triple-A game between the Indianapolis Indians and Louisville. "I went to the restroom, a perfectly normal thing to do during the game," Liefer said yesterday. "When I went to leave, the handle didn't want to work on the door, so I was stuck." Indians teammate Matt Erickson was waiting in line and heard the first baseman say he was trapped. The umpires agreed to delay the start of the fourth inning while maintenance workers at the Indianapolis ballpark opened a vent above the door and handed Liefer tools to unscrew the handle. When Liefer and the Indians ran back onto the field, a gift of toilet paper was waiting from the Louisville dugout. During the delay, fans at Victory Field were told something was going on. "They announced that an Indians player was being temporarily detained in the clubhouse, which can be interpreted a million different ways, I suppose," Liefer told WTHR-TV. "The place erupted when I came back out on the field," he said. "When I got back out there everybody knew what happened. Maybe it just kind of spread, I don't know." Liefer, 29, was a 1995 first-round pick by the Chicago White Sox and played in the majors for them from 1999-02. Last season, he split time between Montreal and Tampa Bay. "Maybe his California lifestyle had something to do with him getting locked in there, I don't know," former Montreal teammate Jamey Carroll said before the Expos' game against Los Angeles on Friday night. Said former Expos teammate Brian Schneider: "I mean, I might be embarrassed if that happened to me, but Lief's a great dude, and that's a good story right there."

That's a great way to start, better to start from the bottom than to start nowhere at all. I'd like to pursue a career in sports too, although it's gonna be pretty hard from down here.

If Dan Wright doesn't win 1 of his next 2 starts I'm all for it. Diaz is absolutely dominating AAA hitters at the moment. I'd rather see him as the 5th starter than Cotts, as I don't want to wreck his confidence that he's building in the pen. -
What minor league affilate are the Cougars tony?

Wow, I think Minny would trade back for him if they didn't hav Joe Mauer. I think he ends up in Milwaukee for a prospect or 2. -
And any trip to Asia.
-
Putting my unbeaten record on the line (0-0). 2 games on the 1st day of May, let's bring home a pair of victories.

Excellent article there, sum really good points made. Minny's ridin the hot hand of some of their unheralded players rite now, with Torii Hunter back Lew Ford has to DH, I think he's nothin more than a flash in the pan, and he'll be back in AAA soon. Carlos Silva has won 4 games for them, while their other starters hav struggled. 1 thing I am worried about with Minny though is Johan Santana, if he stays injury free which is unlikely, he is very dominating and with their potent offence, he'll win a lot of games.

Gees there were sum fun memories readin thru that thread.
-
I think a lot of us are worried that if Wright is traded to another team he would actually use his ability and become a good starter or closer e.g Kip Wells.

Readin this I felt really sorry for my Dad, he has to go back to Malaysia next week for work, and at the building where he works, at the toilet there's no toilet paper, only a hose. And there's no seat, only a crouching position.
