  1. The thing is with the Tribe, if they are competitive and the fans get behind them, they'll hav the most revenue and most likely the biggest payroll in our division. They've been willin to spend before with Belle, Lofton etc., they'll do it again if they think they can win a World Series. I think they hav another top 10 pick in this year's draft and they should be targetting pitching, which is most of the depth is in this year's crop.
  2. This year if they had a red hot Milton Bradley then mayb, but in 2 years watch out. Sabathia and Cliff Lee will be good #1, #2 starters, Jake Westbrook looks like he's turned the corner as well. They'll hav a great young outfield with Gutierrez and Sizemore, and if Phillips can get his head together and hit they'll be dangerous.
  3. I think it's more likely the Giants would deal Kirk Rueter instead of Jason Schmidt. We still mite be able to get Jamie Moyer or Freddy Garcia if the M's are out of the race in July.
  4. Sum1's gotta nominate ya and post ya quote u know.

    Economics Question

Does any1 know where I can find any good websites or articles about the demand and supply for software e.g Microsoft and Adobe and variables e.g advertising, production costs etc. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
  6. News: Now don't go and freak out after you see Sunday's box score. Ramirez allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, but none of them were earned. That's because the Braves committed seven errors on the day.
  7. BMW drivers have more sex than any other car owners and are much more active than Porsche drivers, a car magazine has found. The German magazine Men's Car found male BMW drivers said they had sex on average 2.2 times a week while Porsche drivers had sex 1.4 times a week. Following BMW drivers were Audi (2.1), Volkswagen (1.9), Ford (1.7) and Mercedes (1.6). Drivers of non-German cars were also behind BMW: Italian cars (2), French (1.9), Japanese (1.8), Swedish (1.6) and Korean cars (1.5). Among women, French car drivers were top with 2.1, followed by Audi (2), Italian (2), and BMW (1.9), with Porsche again at the bottom at 1.2.

I think the question we all should be askin is when will DBAH0 move into the top 10.
  9. The question we all should be asking is why does Harold Reynolds still hav a job?
  10. Probably sum1 in the bullpen like Mitch Wylie? You could put Kohleimer back in the pen and then hav a starting 5 of Diaz, Wright, Rauch, Grilli and Josh Stewart. But they also hav Mario Valenzuela as an outfielder in Charlotte too.
  11. Small piece I found from Baseball America, The White Sox released well-traveled infielder Troy Cameron to get more at-bats for third baseman Tommy Nicholson, who was batting just .176-0-1 in 17 at-bats. Cameron, who was entering his third season with as many organizations in the Carolina League, was hitting .200-0-6 in 45 at-bats for high Class A Winston-Salem this year. A first-round pick of the Braves in 1997, Cameron played parts of two seasons for Myrtle Beach before being traded to the Indians with lefthander John Rocker for righthanders Steve Karsay and Steve Reed in 2001. Cameron played in the Independent Northern League last season for the Joliet Jackhammers.
  12. IN Toytown, Barbie and Ken are made of plastic. Now they have astonishing real-life counterparts - made with plastic surgery. Cindy Jackson and Miles Kendall have spent about $300,000 transforming themselves into copies of the best-selling dolls, undergoing 89 operations - ranging from jaw implants and chemical peels to liposuction. Although many would consider them mad, the pair couldn't be happier with their whiter-than-white smiles, wrinkle-free brows and finely chiselled cheekbones. They may or may not have turned out like their miniature alter egos, but they differ in one important aspect from Barbie and Ken: they are not an item. Mr Kendall was a 33-year-old divorcee from Stoke, England, when he first contemplated changing his appearance two years ago. The Internet designer saw 48-year-old Ms Jackson, a British-based American, on television discussing her transformation. He recalls: "I contacted her and said, 'There hasn't been a male version of you in the world. Can I be it?'" And indeed he could. Ms Jackson was already known as the Queen of Cosmetic Surgery after having 42 operations in 13 years. She had spent more than $70,000 nipping and tucking herself into a copy of her childhood heroine, winning a place in the Guinness Book Of Records as the world's most surgically enhanced woman. But she was always missing one vital accessory - Ken, who is Barbie's boyfriend. So Mr Kendall's offer was fortuitous. After getting a doctor to certify that he was sane and not a stalker, she gave the green light for his six-month surgical transformation. Speaking at the time of his operations, Mr Kendall said: "I didn't hate the way I was. I wasn't ugly; I just had a large nose and was ageing fast. "I'd never had an operation, and I was scared to death." The father of one has now undergone 47 procedures to craft his new look and spent $50,000 of an inheritance from his grandparents in the process. He and Ms Jackson picked different aspects of famous faces to mould him into Ken, settling on Tom Cruise's eyes, Brad Pitt's nose, George Clooney's lips, Russell Crowe's chin, Johnny Depp's cheekbones and Jude Law's teeth. Most of Mr Kendall's operations, which included a nose job, brow lift, eye lift, lip augmentation and cheek and jaw implants, were done in 2001. He has since had other procedures. Blue contact lenses finished the look, and even his name was cosmetically enhanced from Tim Whitefield-Lyne. The transformation, chronicled on US television channel National Geographic, comes as plastic surgery reality-TV shows continue to court controversy. On Fox TV's The Swan, "ugly duckling" women moulded by the scalpel compete in a beauty contest. A male Jennifer Lopez fan has been transformed into his idol on MTV's I Want A Famous Face.
  13. Great guy to hav in the clubhouse, but him leavin helped us get Uribe which we're all very happy bout so far.
  14. Diaz deserves a shot. I'd rather leave Cotts in the pen where he's pitchin well. What happens if Cotts struggles startin, and then can't find his groove in the pen if he's moved back?
  15. 0 - 4 Charlotte good? U've hav to chuck in a top player for me to consider dealin Blalock in that deal.
  16. Who else can you use besides Cotts? Adkins?

  18. At least we won 1 game, and we got Danny Wright demoted, I'd call that a sucessful day.

  20. I think I should be glad I haven't seen it yet.
  21. Great to hav u aboard. Every1 in the Knights organization does a fantastic job.
  22. Lilly's pitch count at 95 after 5 innings. We mite get to see that wonderful bullpen of Toronto's soon.
