Just found this little snippet on Reed, Charlotte, NC Few players generated more buzz this spring than Jeremy Reed. Popular opinion was that if he didn't make the White Sox roster out of camp, then whoever started in center field on opening day would just be keeping the position warm for him. He was sent down, but a trip to the minors has done little to silence his bat or the hype. Through 14 games at Triple-A Charlotte, Reed is hitting .373 with five stolen bases in as many tries. Last year at Double-A Birmingham he hit .409 with 18 stolen bases. With Aaron Rowland stuck on three RBIs and nobody else producing at that position for Chicago, Reed's much-anticipated debut may not be far off. AL-only owners should keep a close eye on his progress.

The same Kelly Dransfeldt who's never hit over .300 in 1 season. He was strugglin down at Charlotte too, don't think he was hittin ova .200, he was only called up because of injury, he certainly didn't earn it.

I know sum1 from down here who did that last year, they're studyin in China rite now. Could hav been an option for me, probably should hav if I'd actually read up on it, then I could hav studied ova in America. Hopefully I can still do that next year. Anyways for books, I read TKAM 4 years ago and had to do it for English. Think my essay question was sumthin on the line of the morals Atticus Finch teachin his children or sumthin. My fav. book that I did in English was prob The Great Gatsby, that was quite easy to do. Boy I feel sorry for Greasy though, an hour's oral presentation!? Man, last year I only had to do 1 for 5 minutes on Othello.

His K and BB ratios are good so far, he's just givin up a lot of runs still at AAA level. His last 2 outings haven't been that good, but it's still only early. Hopefully he can still put it all together, but I think in a lot of ppl's eyes Diaz has passed him as the man most likely to be called up so far.

Delgado will definitely be moved, I just don't know if Toronto would take back Paul Konerko in a trade. They already hav Josh Phelps to play 1B if Delgado is moved and they could promote their stud outfield prospect to be their new DH. If anythin they would want young pitching, u know how much J.P Riccardi wants that. He'd want Cotts and mayb Honel in any deal.

Power wise I think he could be like Tejada in the future if he cuts down on his K's but I don't know if he'll hit ova .300 again like he did at Coors Field. .280 is a more likely prediction I think.

Besides the Dodgers I dunno if there'll be a big market for Carlos. Toronto could be an option if they trade Delgado in a cost cutting move. San Francisco mayb if they r willin to add payroll and we could get one of their stud young pitchin prospects or Elgardo Alfonso. I would do Crede and Cotts for Aubrey Huff in a second too. Huff ain't arbitration eligible for bout 3 or 4 years too I think.

Diaz is the only pitcher deservin really of a promotion from Charlotte rite now. Rauch is strugglin, Grilli had a good 1st outing but hasn't pitched as well since. I still don't know if Diaz is a starter long term though, he could be like Adkins in the pen.

And I won't fly to Chicago to see that game either.

If any1 replaces Crede at 3rd it will be Uribe not Gload. We need our best defensive team out there to help our pitchers. There's otha 3rd baseman around the league strugglin too like Morgan Ensberg so Crede's not alone. Even Frank wasn't hittin the ball well at all bf the last home series against Tampa Bay so things can turn around for ya.

Ya gotta jump in nice and early to beat BEGOOD.

They've got Bryant Nelson hittin in the #3 hole now too. Borchard went hitless, hitting .237 now. Reed's hittin .373. Looked who pitched against Charlotte today though for Norfolk, James Baldwin and Royce Ring.

What are every1's thought on Julius Jones the Notre Dame RB. He doesn't really look like a Parcells type of back, but I hope I'm wrong. We get Buffalo's 1st rounder next year now as well, which could be a top 10 pick.

Jacksonville will move up to #6 now to get Roy Williams, and Detroit will get Donovan Darious and take Stevan Jackson.
