No otha team in this division can say that about all members of their bullpen. It will be a big advantage for us, if they can keep performin throughout the year.

No doubt Billy Botch and whether or not he can handle bein the closer.

Full story, Florida police arrested New England Patriots cornerback Ty Law after he allegedly lead police on a foot chase through a popular nightclub district in Miami Beach, according to the Patriot Ledger of Quincy. Law was driving his 2004 Rolls-Royce early Saturday morning in the South Beach section of the city when an officer flagged him down for a lane violation, police said. The 30-year-old Pro Bowl player initially pulled over, but police said he sped off, prompting them to chase him until he stopped again. The officers then told Law to put his hands behind his back, and he "became agitated" and ran, they said. He also allegedly told the two officers "not to touch him because he is a professional athlete," police said. Law, a Quincy resident, has been charged with failure to obey a police officer and resisting an officer, both misdemeanors, the newspaper said. Police took Law to Dade County Jail after his arrest, but he no longer is in police custody and presumably still in Florida, said Patriots spokesman Stacey James early Monday morning. "We're aware of the reports. We're going to work internally to gather more information," James told The Associated Press after learning about the arrest earlier from the Patriot Ledger. Law reportedly was released on a $1,500 cash bond. Law could not be reached for comment by the newspaper. One of the officers allegedly used excessive force and tossed Law's wallet in his face, Law's agent Carl Poston told The Boston Globe. "Basically, it was a routine traffic stop that turned into a misunderstanding due to an overzealous police officer," Poston said, adding his client is "weighing his options." In December 2000, Law had his only other reported conflict with police as a Patriots player when U.S. Customs officials found several pills of the illegal drug Ecstasy in his bag after he was leaving Canada with two other players. Law said the drug belonged to his cousin, but paid a $700 administrative fine at the scene and was released. There was no further prosecution in Niagara Falls, N.Y., where he had been detained. That same year, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick suspended Law for the season finale against the Miami Dolphins, a move that cost Law his $87,500 paycheck for one game. More recently, Law has said he no longer wants to play for New England because of a dispute over his contract, which has two more years. He wanted an extension that would have made him the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL, but negotiations have stalled. In 1995, Law was New England's first-round draft pick, and four years later, he signed a $50 million contract, one of the richest in league history.

Excellent, I'll be able to get the PBP at bout 10:00 a.m my time.
-
If Cotts keeps impressin in the pen though, and we need a replacement for Wright, I wonder if Coop and Ozzie will leave Neal in da pen for a lil while longer, and promote sum1 hot from Charlotte like Felix Diaz. Always worth to see sum1 else get a shot as well.

Are there any night games in the Yankee Series?

Also this team report from Sportingnews.com, nothin new really but sum interestin points to be heard, RHP Jon Adkins' plan for success is simple: throw strikes, induce ground balls and let his defense do the rest. Manager Ozzie Guillen has confidence in Adkins and plans to use him in middle relief and late-inning situations. . . . RHP Mike Jackson, 39, provides more than solid, late-inning relief. He is considered a key veteran presence, settling the bullpen and helping to keep the team focused. . . . The team found offensive success early without DH Frank Thomas, 3B Joe Crede and CF Aaron Rowand at their best. But Thomas believeshe'll break out soon. . . . Keep an eye on RHP Felix Diaz at Class AAA. He opened the season by pitching 13 scoreless innings over two starts. SEE A DIFFERENT GAME: Considering several White Sox baserunners have been thrown out trying to stretch hits into doubles and triples, it would figure that Guillen would pull back on his hard-charging, aggressive style. But he doesn't mind mistakes brought on by hustle. He hates problems caused by a lack of effort. SCOUTING REPORT: IF Juan Uribe carried a reputation of a subpar work ethic and a lack of baseball sense when he arrived in Chicago. But he has fit in perfectly and has showed he can hit for average and power. Though Uribe has made a few mistakes, he is pushing 2B Willie Harris for playing time. BURNING ISSUE: The club needs stability at closer. If RHP Billy Koch can't provide it, manager Ozzie Guillen isn't afraid to use another pitcher in that role.

So in ur opinion we should ship him out while his value as a prospect is not toast?
-
Still think he's goin to Anaheim. Ben Weber's lost a lot of velocity on his pitches, and they need a middle reliever to get to K-Rod and Percival while Shields is also strugglin. Should try to get Figgins or Alamenzenga? in any deal we make.
-
Gees u've been drinkin too much Fosters this mornin haven't you? You are right about the bench coach needin to be experienced there Southsider, but we can easily do betta than JM, who's enjoyin himself down at Del Boque Vista.
-
Long term Wright should be in the pen, and Cotts should be startin. I think Jackson prob sticks around because of his experience, and if any1 is demoted for Wunsch, it'll be Adkins, which will be very unfair on him because he's done nothin wrong since he's been here. I just hope that if Cotts gets a go at bein a starter if he doesn't pitch well straight away, he doesn't lose his confidence and start believin he can't make it, he's got the ability, he just needs time to settle in to bein a starter at this level.

Seein Frank Thomas in the 90's definitely helped me decide to become a White Sox fan. I don't think he deserves a 4 year contract at all e.g look at guys like Fred McGriff now. I like the attitude Ozzie's takin to it as well, doesn't giv a s*** bout it, unless Frank starts b****in in the clubhouse bout it, then there will be a problem.

Don't worry Aboz, I know u ain't eva gonna back down from praising Mark Buerhle , and rightfully so. A lot of ppl thought Wright pitched terribly against Tampa Bay but he only gave up 3 runs, I'd take that every outing from him as our 5th starter, it will give our offence a lot of chances to win when he's pitchin. If Wunsch is traded though, I think Cotts will probably stay in the bullpen longer as one of the lefties unless they decide to call up David Sanders.

If sum1 has been raped or brutally attacked etc. it's very hard for them to do just that, forgive and forget. They are still allowed to be angry but they should not look for revenge.
-
Nothin like a bit of healthy competition though. I am feelin a lot betta about our rotation this week than I was leadin into the season even though it is still only very early in the year. Buerhle and Loaiza look very capable of winnin 15-20 games and postin a sub 4.00 ERA, Garland if he control his BB's and throw strikes should also hav a good year. Shoe was the big question mark, but he seems to hav figured out how to throw the cutter and the changeup that he'd been workin on in spring training. And I'm not givin up on Dan Wright yet either.
-
Mayb he saw Belicheck comin with a contract extension?
-
I still think Wunsch is an excellent chance to be traded. The pen has looked very solid without him, it would be very hard to drop Cotts, Mike Jackson or Jon Adkins the way they r pitchin at da moment.

For those unable to graps the meaning of zeitgeist, The spirit of the time; the taste and outlook characteristic of a period or generation:

From another site, on ESPN that Ty Law has gotten himself in some trouble with the law. Apparently he was driving his car in a commercial area and an officer pulled him over for a lane violation. He then sped off and had to be pulled over again and after that, ran off on foot... The Patriots are looking into the situation.

No T-Mac, No me watchin.

Borchard's really strugglin. Last few games, he's hardly made any contact and got on base. Reed has gotten betta with each game, with A-Row still strugglin at balls low and away, I wouldn't call it a stretch to see Reed up by June. Of course a trade could be in the works if Maggs resigns, I think sumthin will get done with Borchard, possibly with the Dodgers.
-
You could really go either way these two. Colon is almost one of a kind of a power pitcher that can easily pitch a complete game. When he just uses his fastballs and nasty stuff, he's a very dominating pitcher. Helps the bullpen out tremendously as well. Maggs is the fan favourite in the South Side, but I still think when most ppl think White Sox, they think Frank Thomas, not Maggilo Ordonez, but that's just me. Supply and demand wise, it's much easier to get a Maggs type of outfielder, than a Colon type of pitcher. But the backlash of lettin Maggs leave could be so great, it could hav big implications in the future.

I thought it was a good read there YASNY. Sum good points made, a good start and we will see sum new additions to this ballclub. I would hav said a new starter, but afta the way Shoe pitched against TB, it looks like we hav 4 capable starters, for the MOMENT. Walker seems to be doin the job with the hitters, and Coop with the hitters, both very good coaches to hav.
-
Who would you rather for $14 million a year? Bartolo Colon or Maggilo Ordonez?
-
Here's da article and White Sox snippets, White Sox RF Magglio Ordonez, a potential free agent, wants to improve upon the four-year, $48 million contract the Angels awarded OF Garret Anderson. Ordonez, his agents and the White Sox have worked for months to complete a deal, but Ordonez is in a different position than Anderson, whom one scout says "might be the best player in the A.L.". . . White Sox G.M. Ken Williams dismisses critics who question the Sox's hiring of a first-time bench coach, Harold Baines, to assist a first-time manager, Ozzie Guillen: "When you say somebody doesn't have experience and you're talking about a guy who played for 20-plus years," Williams says, referring to Baines, "that's a little disrespectful." Williams, in fact, cites the closeness and enthusiasm of the team's coaching staff as one reason for the Sox's early success. Guillen was teammates with Baines, hitting coach Greg Walker and third base coach Joey Cora and Williams. . . . Inside Dish
