Damn, I hate havin a high nymber. -
Sadly neva heard of em bf.
-
Who was in this movie again? Think I've seen it bf.
-
Pete Murray - Feeler. Prob haven't heard of him down there, but he has the best selling album down here for about 10 weeks in a row now I think. I'd like to see PA do a review of him. Also I recommend Get Born by Jet and A Rush of Blood to the Head by Coldplay.

I think eventually they should be able to forgive but it shouldn't happen instantly. They hav a rite to grieve and be angry.
-
I thought 10 was the max score u could hav for a hole. Comes in handy for me on the par 5's.
-
I'm glad I don't liv in the tropics down here, we get A LOT of tornados in those parts.
-
I'm only sayin Munoz or Meaux could be promoted if a trade gets done, and 2 guys like Rauch and Stewart are shipped out. And that won't be for a while at least. Good to see they r off to good starts though.
-
Sweeney hasn't set the world on fire at Winstom Salem, YET. Dan is ur opinion, who is more likely to be called up to Charlotte's rotation in the future. Munoz or Meaux? They both hav had excellent starts down at Birmingham.

Ahh Water Fights. I remember my old Super Soaker, sum good times.

Just plain old Shoe.
-
Very impressed with Shoe's performance. Havin the cutter and the changeup in his 4 pitch arsenal now will help him tremendously. Good to see Marte get his 1st save for the year as well. Gload plays well every time he gets on the field, good to see him get another oppurtunity to play. 1st time we've seen Uribe at 3B too, his versatility was one of the reasons we traded for him.
-
I think Uribe's 1st season at Coors where he hit ova .300 showed what he is capable with the bat. Remember he got traded from Colorado, because he had trouble communicating with Clint Hurdle. Down at the South Side is a different story, and Ozzie can communicate very easily with Uribe. Uribe was mainly traded for his defense as well, Ozzie wants his middle infielders to play great D, like Luis Castillo and Alex Gonzalez did in Florida.

Saturday's Southtown - Magglio Optimism
DBAHO replied to Al Lopez Ghost (old)'s topic in Pale Hose Talk
Very good news to hear. Looks like they mite hav worked out an option for the 5th year, whether it's a player 1 or a team 1. -
Or when they look at the X-Ray they find cork in his throat.

A US business owner opening a shipment of merchandise from China got an additional item he didn't expect - a severely undernourished cat. The female cat, named China by animal service staff members, tipped the scale at just over 1.35kg after being trapped in the container for the nearly month-long trip. Norman Goldberg, owner of Quality Discount Cages, said he discovered the cat a week ago when he received the shipment of bird cages at his warehouse. Several cardboard boxes holding cages had been chewed up. "I opened it up, and out jumped the cat," he said. The travelling feline apparently began her journey at a factory in China where workers loaded the parrot cages into a 12-metre metal container early last month, Goldberg said. The container arrived by boat in Los Angeles on April 1 and then travelled by rail to Tampa, Florida. China was taken to Hillsborough County Animal Services, where she was given intravenous fluids and food. She was later transferred to a private clinic, Florida Veterinary Specialists, for further tests. Results were pending today. Goldberg's brother-in-law emailed the factory in China where the cages originated, Dayang Co. "You gave us a very big surprise today," a company staffer wrote in response. "We are very happy to know our cat still alive. Would you please tell us more information about our cat? "Is it a yellow or gray one? Because we have two cats, but they disappeared one month ago. ... Please raise it, or you can give it to the animal asylum." If the cat is healthy, it will be put up for adoption. "I hope it gets adopted," Goldberg said. "It has used up most of its nine lives."

Sammy should do the hop afta findin out his taco is too hot.

Agreed on Beltran. He's one of those special players that don't come along very often. He's only 26, and can easily be a 30/30 guy maybe even 40/40. Maggs is Maggs, an absolute star, but I still think Beltran brings more to the table. That said, I believe we resign Maggs to a 5 year deal afta the fans revolt against JR, and Beltran signs with Seattle Mariners or the New York Yankees.
-
He's got the right to, I just don't think it was the right decision. Doesn't really send a good message across to Cotts, although I shouldn't really be complainin, Shingo came in and looked very, very impressive. That mite not hav happened if he didn't pull Cotts.
-
Damn u beat me to the punchline there YASNY.
-
Why do ppl even think the Yankees will be interested in Maggs next year? They already hav Sheff to play RF, he's contracted for another 2 years, and Hideki Matsui in LF, and he's contracted for another few years. If anythin, they'll be goin afta Carlos Beltran instead to leadoff and play CF for the next 10 years. Maggs would mayb hav to DH and rotate in the outfield if he played for the Pin Stripes but don't forget they hav Bernie Williams as well.
-
Notice though afta we traded D'Angelo suddenly the team got betta. So ur sayin if we kept D'Angelo and not traded for Robbie we would hav made the playoffs. I think not, we would hav prob finished 3rd behind Kansas City. The rest of the team played betta when he left, all of their numbers picked up. Now if he had been there this year with Ozzie then yes, mayb he would hav been kept in line, and he would prob put up sum good numbers. But he had his chance here in Chicago and blew it with his nonchalant attitude.
-
Brando sumtimes numbers don't matter. This is the case with Jimenez. The whole culture instantly became betta when Lazy Ass Jimenez left for Cincinatti. We all know he has talent, that's why we traded for him in the 1st place. But when he goes out here lookin like he doesn't giv a s*** when u hav othas bustin their asses tryin to make it to the big leagues, then it's just not worth havin a headcase like him around. Although I would hav like to hav seen what Ozzie would hav done if he was still here for this season.

Meaux with an good outing today. So far the experiment of turnin him and Arnie Munoz into starters is workin nicely. Jason Stumm got shelled for Winstom Salem I see as well, I don't think we'll eva see him pitch for the White Sox, which is a shame.
