Interestin, but this would put Seattle out of the market for Valentin. From the Seattle Post, According to a well-placed source, Seattle is close to signing shortstop Rich Aurilia, below, who hit .277 with 13 home runs and 58 RBIs for the San Francisco Giants last season, to a one-year, $4 million contract. The deal is contingent on the Mariners being able to trade Carlos Guillen, who recently agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million contract. The Mariners would have to eliminate Guillen's salary to make Aurilia's $4 million fit within their 2004 budget. According to the source, Guillen could go to the Tigers, Brewers or Rockies, although the Rockies reportedly are close to signing Royce Clayton. The source said the Mariners would be willing to take prospects for Guillen.

I saw him play for Miami last nite. Think he just got ova 1000 yards rushin for da season. Dunno if he's got da talent to get drafted cos he's been rotatin with another for da whole season, but mayb da Bears could pick him up with a 7th round pick or just afta the draft if he ain't actually picked up by any1.

Angelo had a good draft in 2003, of course Jauron actually playin da rookies helped immensely. I think defensively they r pretty much set, except they need another D Lineman to help take away space for Urlacher to make his tackles. I think they should select a tackle with their 1st pick to help protect Grossman for the next 10 years.

I see Alexis Rios put up good numbers down there at winter ball. He could play for KC sum time this year in the outfield.
