  1. Beecher High School, about 50 miles south of Chicago, puts band teacher on leave for allegedly installing video cameras “small rooms and offices around the perimeter of the High School music room.” https://abc7chicago.com/amp/beecher-band-teacher-suspended-after-hidden-cameras-found-at-high-school/4776515/ This particular one hits home for me as I am from this area.
  2. @RapSheet Ian Rapoport 11:52 AM - Apr 28, 2017 For what it's worth, the #49ers did have a real and legitimate offer for someone to come to No. 2 yesterday. #Bears offer was best value.
  3. Same here. Always lived in IL, mom graduated from USC.
  4. Didn’t rumors come out after the Q firing that a part of the firing was because of Q’s handling of Schmaltz? And now dipshit Bowman trades him a few weeks later? RT @MarkLazerus: Blackhawks first-rounders: 2011: Mark McNeill (traded, bust) 2011: Phil Danault (traded) 2012: Teuvo Teravainen (traded) 2013: Ryan Hartman (traded) 2014: Nick Schmaltz (traded) 2015: None 2016: None The cupboard is pretty bare. Way to go, Stan, you great drafter you!
  5. Illinois: we’re going to make an embarrassing decision today regarding our football program! USC: hold my beer
  6. 1) It’s not impossible to find good players late. “Great” drafters find mid-late round gems, which leads me into my second point... 2) If he was “great” at drafting, why hasn’t he found any mid-late round gems lately? 2013- John Hayden, Robin Norell, Tyler Motte, Luke Johnson, Anthony Louis 2014- Beau Starrett, Fredrick Olofsson, Luc Snuggerud, Andreas Soderberg, Dylan Sikura 2015- Dennis Gilbert, Ryan Shea, Radovan Bondra, Roy Radke 2016- Artur Kayumov, Wouter Peeters, Lucas Carlson, Nathan Noel, Mathias From If Bowman were “great” at drafting he wouldn’t have four drafts in a row that poor.
  7. All of those hard earned posts that I wrote up regarding Bowman only to have to keep writing more to obviously point out how bad he is at his job only for 2-3 weeks later that poster now agrees? Holy shit
  8. Yeah, he chased down Kenny Golladay. That was impressive.
  9. And your posts are typically the length of novel and do nothing except bash the WWE...and yet again, you continue to watch and continue to trash it. If I genuinely thought that a TV show or a team completed sucked and "failed" repeatedly and was "super weak sauce" for months on end, I'd stop watching. Your time must be extremely valuable.
  10. Guys, come on. His name is Chase Daniel, not Daniels. Don’t be ignorant.
  11. I’d rather it to be Chase Daniel but Daniels would be fine I guess
  12. Perhaps he wasn't screaming in pain. Sometimes athletes make weird faces and sounds when they're running away from people trying to tackle them. Or maybe sliding on hard, frozen ground hurts sometimes.
  13. No way it happened on the penalty. I just watched the replay 3 times. He got hit on the left shoulder. It may have happened on the Cohen fumble.
  14. Yeah, the INT was a great play by Harris and I feel like if that throw is made to someone like Robinson or Shaheen (someone who isn't 5'9), the odds of it being completed are greater. Either way, that throw has to be perfect for it not to be intercepted. On the second INT, something happened there. Robinson was contacted early and then never bothered to not only turn around but he also likely didn't finish his route cutting toward the middle of the field. Whatever. That D is no joke and the Bears are 7-3. f*** it
  15. My only concern about this game is if they lose, I fear they may spiral downward. I say that because all of the players this week are saying things like “all or nothing” and “we want this one badly.” A loss here could cause a lot of doubt on a short week. Bears 27-23
  16. So if the Phillies offered Harper 10/350 and the Sox offered 10/440, he would say no to the Sox? That’s laughable.
  17. What’s the excuse for him missing in the heat in Miami and him missing in a dome in Arizona? We now have a miss from 45 in Arizona (dome), from 53 in Miami (hot and humid), 41 vs the Jets (wind and rain), and four short ones vs the Lions (sunny and cold). Where exactly can he make a field goal consistently? The moon?
  18. Why would he go to Soldier Field? It’s not like he has a contract to earn. He got paid already.
