QUOTE(Goldmember @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) iirc, i believe they first used the high pitched joke in like season 2 where stewie was trying to console a sulking peter. was used much better then too... yeah your right. "you wanna soooooda?"
  6. QUOTE(danman31 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) Funny you guys mentioned this. I just went on a rant about this tonight. Sportscenter used to be the pure substance show on ESPN. Just highlights with comedic voice overs from the anchors. Now it's all opinionated crap and soap operas. BBTN, NFL Live, etc. should be the opinionated shows for that sport (sadly they still are, overkill). SC needs to be the substance, isolated from the rest of the stuff they show. The last thing I want is fact or fiction with some stupid former QB saying the same stuff I could. but did you know that "life is an open road"?
  7. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 10:44 PM) There've been a couple times when what she wrote was so well-done and just made me laugh with something really smart and witty where I've honestly wanted to e-mail her and say how much I enjoy her blog. I think she's great. And I'd much rather spend an afternoon chatting with her than a lot of the people who rip her to shreds. Ooooooh, b**** sox is so original. Yeah, and so is the Twinks, Twinkies, YankMEs, whatever. Get over it, other than that knickname her blog/articles are far more intelligent than a lot of the anti-other team drivel I see around here. EAT s***!!!!!!!!!!@e$#@$

QUOTE(winodj @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 05:34 PM) Actually, the first episode bothered me. Even though Stewie and Brian don't usually act like a dog and a baby, they went too far out of what they normally are for their characters to work. It's one thing for Brian to drive, or drink or read a book. Those things are funny. It's another to have him parenting with a baby or being a substitute teacher. In previous seasons, Brian had jobs where you might actually have dogs involved. Helping out a blind/infirm person. In the police. In porn. I have never seen a teaching dog. porn :
  25. at the beginning of the season i said this team was either going to be in first lace or last place, no inbetween. The experiment has seemed to work
