I love these futuresoxmachine daily updates. It's just so frustrating to me that they burn 5.5m a year for 3 years on Leury when they have 3 guys that appear to be able to fill in the "utility" position, and fairly soon (Romy, Sosa, Yolbert).

I just don't understand the reasoning behind signing a bunch of garbage bin players to 3-5m contracts instead of one good player and letting your minor leaguers fill the hole. Let Romy play 2nd and use the money from Josh Harrison and VV towards a better pitcher.

I know this is similar to the other thread, but i want to get a gauge on what the board thinks. Would you be in favor of moving Yoan to 2B and starting Burger at 3B? It would be a boost to the offense, without question. The infield defense would likely suffer a little. Jake looks at least average at 3B. Yoan is not as good as Harrison at 2B. Let's see how the poll shakes out.
