Goodwin has simply been better than Eaton so far. Sheets is making a case. Hamilton is a great pinch runner and defensive replacement. I just don't see how Eaton fits on the team anymore.

I can. If he keeps choosing to be Mr. Tough Guy and play while injured, he will not lead the team in OPS. If he takes some games off to properly heal, I think he could be the leader in OPS.

That 2006 team not making it is still painful. That lineup was deadly.

Sheets is pricing himself out as a piece in an Eduardo Escobar trade. You don't give up 6 years of a guy who looks like a legit ML contributor for a half year of Escobar. It's a good problem to have. Maybe he is part of a bigger trade at this point.

He's currently on pace for 81 homeruns in a 162 game season. It might be too early to judge his power. He made some swing adjustments recently.

Imo he is high on the list of Sox players to get traded this deadline. Maybe they like his bat more than we think, especially since he is a much needed lefty. Who knows.
