  1. Shwelcome to Shloxtalk!
  2. It's debatable. Right now we have Cease slotted as the #4, and Kopech as the #5, at some point. Kopech won't be ready right away. They need at least a #4 like Q so we can push Cease down and let Kopech take his time. When you account for future injuries, they definitely need another starter.
  3. Given the payroll constraints the White Sox have, getting all 3 would be overkill. Do you understand?
  4. We aren't living in fantasy land, that's why. The Sox aren't signing Hendriks, Colome AND a quality starting pitcher. Getting another starting pitcher is more important than signing a second top tier relief pitcher. ideally they get Hendriks and then a starter such as Q or Musgrove.
  5. That would be overkill. Whatever Colome costs would be better served going to Q
  6. Sounds like Beef is just stealing Jimmy's info from here and putting 2 and 2 together.
  7. I'll be sure to quote this post next year when the White Sox rotation is superior to the Padres. You have been warned.
  8. No. All 3 of those pitchers have legitimate injury concerns. It's likely that at least one gets injured. For all the praise they have gotten, they have a very volatile starting rotation.
  9. I want TLR locked up for a minimum of 5 seasons.
  10. I personally would prefer Rongey + Bernstein and Parkins + Spiegel. I like Spiegel a lot, especially given that he knows baseball more than anybody there. I'm not a big fan of Rahimi on the radio. I liked her a lot on Bulls pre + post. I can see them hiring her to help with the station diversity.
  11. Julie DiCaro is back!!
  12. What a fucking joke of a ballot. Pathetic.
  13. Darvish is 34 years old, has injury concerns, and is in the hook for 3 more years. He also hasn't been consistently great by any means. I'm not sure why people expected the moon for him. It wasn't that long ago people were talking about how bad of a signing that was.
  14. Lol, sure. You hear the MLB GMs? South Side Hit Men from soxtalk.com has spoken. Anybody who signs Bauer will regret it, guaranteed. He knows Bauer better than anybody.
  15. Nobody, maybe in the history of Soxtalk, is less of a dick then you are. Nobody!
  16. Good luck, Trev. You ain't getting that much.
  17. Lol, remember that one time you argued the point below?
  18. Bradley Braves represent!
  19. Agreed. It's ridiculous that people act like they know who did and didn't do steroids. Many of the "clean" guys may have been roiding their asses off, and we just didn't know.
  20. lmao, Tony laying the smackdown. iwin4prep, this is just sad.
  21. It's crazy how much better of a mod I would be than Tony. Sign me up, bmags.
  22. These pitchers are clearly more injury prone than others. Snell literally doesn't pitch more than 5 innings. Quit being a bonehead.
  23. The Dustin Fowler lawsuit would have gone much more smoothly, that's for sure.
