  1. Agreed on all fronts. You can't keep them all. If Moncada keeps it up, he'll be playing for the Yankees in 4 years.
  2. He's a big dude who has been pretty banged up. I think the injury concerns will suppress his value lower than the Cubs will be willing to accept. They don't have an easy decision to make here.
  3. How about the dude who won the batting title?
  4. The lousy roster doesn't excuse his asinine decision making. His lineups were an absolute joke. How can you defend batting Yonder cleanup as often as he did? Yonder had a historically bad run here, yet Ricky kept trotting him out there in the cleanup spot.

Escape from Tarkov absolutely nailed the online FPS/RPG/PvP style shooter. It is incredibly addicting and insanely fun. Haven't been hooked to a game like this in a while.
  6. Anybody else on board with getting a legitimate MLB manager? I know the optics may be rough, but Hinch would manage circles around Ricky. What I'm not clear about is the punishment. Does he have to be employed for the suspension time to count? Or can we just hire him next year? Anybody else agree this is the way to go? It would be buying low on a good manager.
  7. He umpired little league though. None of those little shits were able to pull a fast one and pitch frame on him
  8. They had some old/injury prone outfielders. Keeping a high caliber outfield prospect in that situation isn't a bad move. He just happen to bust. If he came up and raked when they needed, it would have looked great
  9. I think you're wrong
  10. I don't buy for a second that he helped with the Robert signing. Money talks, and that large sum of money is what got it done
  11. They've had stacked rosters. They also lost to cheating teams in the world series the last two years.
  12. Let's quit sugarcoating the Abreu deal. It simply was not good. It was a signing orchestrated but Reinsdorf, not Hahn. Unless he miraculously does not decline and it helps us get Colas, it's a lousy signing.
  13. https://www.mlb.com/news/best-baseball-video-games-in-history Agree with a lot of it. Very much disagree with the snub of either Major League Baseball featuring Ken Griffey Jr or Ken Griffey Jr's Slugfest for N64. Those were always my favorites.
  14. Benyamin Bailey is a future major league allstar.
  15. As a signed major leaguer or as Jerry's freshly appointed court jester?
  16. This fake Steve cishek clown has two front page threads about his "rumors"? Next thing you know we'll have a thread citing peavy44's latest scoop
  17. I wonder if the whole "money will be spent" thing was a ploy to slash payroll and maximize profits, taking advantage of Sox fans optimism regarding the rebuild. The ownership group is making out like bandits.
  18. It is obvious the Sox won't be competitive this year. Anybody have secondary teams they're interested in following and rooting for? I think I will get more joy out of that. it will be healthier than rooting for the White Sox shitshow. I always like rooting for the Athletics. Cubs are a 10 minute redline ride for me. Always a good option for games in person.
  19. At that price though? You gotta do it
  20. It has been properly aborted. On to Plan C.
  21. We found you peavy44!
  22. Hahn is the worst GM in the league
  23. Me. Those who don't are trash
  24. And I'm considering getting a dog. Probably won't, but I'm considering it. What the hell is this shit, Chuck?
