What the fuck?

I guess that explains his velocity being down vs Cleveland

Also explains him constantly fidgeting his neck in his first few starts. I'm guessing it's been bothering him for a while.

If he's been this good while pitching injured (definitely possible) that would be pretty incredible. Hopefully it's only a 10 day stint.

I'm guessing they can skip him with the off-days coming up. That's why they skipped Giolito today. Cease can go Thursday, Keuchel on Friday, then back to Gio and Rodon over the weekend. Then they have another off day on Monday and can skip Lynn again.

It probably didn't get bad enough to affect him until the Cleveland start.

Strained trap? Lynn must have been hitting the weight room too hard.

Dane Dunning: 3 starts, .60 ERA, 1.00 WAR

Help

No big deal. 10 days is about right for the muscle strain unless it's a really bad one,  which it doesn't sound like it.

It's one of the scapula stabilizers. Not uncommon for pitchers to have issues with it.

Isn't there a rule about how soon they can recall a player after they were just sent down?

And he’s missing one start

Nicky 2 strikes

Did this happen because he’s horribly obese??

Yes he has, and so has Dunning who is under control and dirt cheap. That’s my issue with it, if Lynn walks it’s a bad deal.
