You really think a guy on a contract year will make a scene/let his location impact his play? We're in freaking Chicago. It's a world class city. He would be just fine.

Lauri has been injured all season. Something just isn't right. I think he has some sort of undiagnosed autoimmune disorder that is hindering him. Possibly lupus

The RBI is an antiquated, lousy stat that should be thrown into a fire and burned. Batting average isn't quite so bad. Regardless, there are much better stats that should be used instead of them.

Nobody says they are bad hitters. Jose just simply isn't too 10 at his position. You can't make a sound, logical argument for ranking him top 10. Timmy, I can see an argument for him being top 10.

Abreu 2019: wRC+ - 11th fWAR - 14th wOBA - 15th OPS - 12th I'm not sure what about those stats scream "Top 10 1st baseman". That's not even factoring in his bottom tier defense. Using RBIs to bump him up to top 10 is a joke.

It's been interesting listening to Cubs fans calling into 670 the score. The meatballs are out in full force. Kris Bryant is greedy, he is soft, he isn't clutch, he isn't that good anymore, he is smug. Hearing this stuff A LOT. It's absurd. The station very well may be putting all these people on air intentionally, but it feels like lots of the fans turned on him and are totally unappreciative.

I'm interested in the approach the league will take to limit the amount of HBPs and subsequent bench clearing brawls that occur with the Astros. They're going to get beamed left and right.
