  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:03 AM) a few of my teammates have played in that league. Their championship series was played in Miller Park. But they got tired of the travel every weekend and ended up playing softball with me, natural progression Lol yeah the travel is brutal a bit. But my home field is right next to my house, and we only have one game away from there. Pumped about that.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 07:42 AM) Midwest league? That's right. You've heard of it? I'll be playing for the Marlins.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 07:31 AM) Spring season finally began for us. Last night i hit a shot past the right fielder and as i was rounding first i blew out my cleats, that was a first. On my instep the shoe tore open pretty much from toe to heel. I ended up with a triple but i would have had a homer easy if that didnt happen Lol, I've done that before but in basketball. I tried to cut to the ball and my entire foot comes out of my shoe. I joined a men's league baseball team ages ranging from 22-50 on my team lol. First game this Sunday, we'll see how it goes.
  4. Just a quick question, when is the CBA up? For the next CBA, they are going to discuss an international draft and trading draft picks right?
  5. I cannot hit the ball to save my life. I faced Ventura, couldn't touch his fastball at all. Also, anyone have this issue. When I'm pitching, I have the classic mode with the meter and ball marker completely on instead of fade. But, when I go to locate the pitch, i go low and away, my analog will go low and in. Anybody have this issue? How do I hit? How do I get rid of that?
  6. Is it just me, or is our shifting in the infield always wrong and hitters hit it where they would be playing? Also, I'm already sick of Micah, bring up Sanchez.
  7. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 09:36 AM) Thursday will be even better: Rodon, Fry, and Adams Chub
  8. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 09:12 AM) The verdict is in for Aaron Hernandez, just waiting on the Jury Was it suppose to be this soon? Seems early to me.

  10. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 15, 2015 -> 08:29 AM) Charlotte - Beck Birmingham - Jaye Winston-Salem - Dykstra & Wheeler Kannapolis - Almonte & Guerrero Good pitching day.
  11. I have Devin Mesoraco, David Wright, Anthony Rendon, Christian Yelich, Xander Boegarts, and Homer Bailey on my fantasy team, and all of them are hurt. Unbelievable. My keeper money league too.......
  12. Kiley McDaniel is going to give an update tomorrow for July 2nd prospects. He also is updating his mob draft list.
  13. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150414 Charlotte- Penny Winston Salem- Dykstra Kannapolis - PPD Birmingham is off today.
  14. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 14, 2015 -> 10:33 AM) Why? LOL Probably just doing their due diligence, in case he does fall or a trade up scenario.... Ron Jaworski I believe yesterday said that the Bucs like Mariota more than Winston now.
  15. Illinois 29-6-1. Tyler Jay has been amazing this season.
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 14, 2015 -> 09:27 AM) Turns out he is back, but starts the season in extended ST (technically on the Dash DL) getting rehabbed and stretched back out. He was my sleeper last year. Unfortunately, I believe this will be his last season in the Sox organization.
  17. QUOTE (LDF @ Apr 14, 2015 -> 06:39 AM) Fangraph write up on the sox minors http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/evaluating-...cago-white-sox/ That was from November, pretty sure that has been posted around here. I know I've seen it. But thanks anyway!
  18. QUOTE (scs787 @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 08:30 PM) What was Johnson at velo wise last year? Read a Lasko tweet that he was sitting at 92-95 today. That's higher than last year yes? Where was he in 2013? As always, Im a tad bit slow to post lol He was like 87-90 last year.
  19. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 08:24 PM) Johnson done. 3IP, 3K, 2H. I am rooting for him heavy but this is a depleted Durham Bulls team. With Loney, Nick Franklin and John Jaso all on the DL the team is missing what would probably be their 2-3-4 hitters in Beckham-Mahtook-Dykstra. Encouraging start for EJ either way. Seth Lasso mentioned that Johnson was 92-95 with more torque in his delivery....If he can stay there all year, he can be dominant again.
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 09:43 AM) It's Blackmar. His dad played on the PGA tour a long time. My bad. I made the change. According to the FutureSox twitter, Havilland and Johnson are doing a tandem today.
