  1. May as well just let Crochet shove if you’re gonna let him pitch at all.
  2. Pretty confident neither of those guys are going anywhere this TDL. Crochet I guess I could see, but just can’t see it with Robert at this point.
  3. Fire Pedro. Let Sizemore manage rest of season. Keep him on as AJs bench coach, and build a a coaching staff of young respectable guys and try to build an actual culture.
  4. At least AJ won’t deal with lazy bullshit.
  5. I’m with ya. I would have started moving the lower value guys right after the ASB.
  6. Truthfully, I always find myself scratching my head a bit when when I hear AJ talk about in game strategies and roster management while calling games or in bits of his podcast I see on Twitter. Maybe that would make him a good manager because he seems to think a bit outside of the box, but I’ve definitely noticed it time and time again. I think I’d like his fire, but I’d prefer someone with some actual managerial experience. But honestly, anyone is an upgrade form Pedro.
  7. I doubt he’s removing they from the equation. He’s probably just asking for a premium, which for the time being is fine. If it ends on Tue without Fedde being traded, we can reevaluate. But it sure would be nice if he’d start to move the guys in the Pham, DeJong, Lopez, Kopech, Brebbia, Flexen, Banks group.
  8. I know this start isn’t going to change the return on Fedde, but just such a dumb way to handle the situation all around.
  9. Getz is nuts for running Fedde out there. Absolutely nothing to gain
  10. Sounds like Yanks getting Fairbanks too. Good to see the Yanks and Red Sox being active…0
  11. Never a need to apologize. Your posts are always appreciated.
  12. That could be as simple as Peralta pitched 4.1 yesterday and will be unavailable for several days. But ya, I mean Fedde is for sure getting traded.
  13. I agree with Boob (for once) and have been saying exactly this since this silly news came out. Crochet doesn’t have the ability to dictate this stuff.
  14. Every team in baseball would want Robert, to answer your question.
  15. Sounds like Davis Martin in the clubhouse. So at least they have a plan.
  16. He’s still in his rookie contract and isn’t getting paid much in 24 because he’s been hurt for a good chunk of his career to this point. In most orgs, Crochet would have spent significant time in the minors and would be making even less, and potentially 2 extra years away from FA. He really doesn’t have much to b**** about.
  17. Kinda have to move him before his start tonight, no? Would be wild to take that risk.
  18. I’m with ya. I would have sent him to AAA to ramp up for a month. I said it all winter. But I’m also willing to admit what they did has been a smashing success. For all we know, he gets hurt in AAA and he’s basically toast in our mind at this point. Even if he’s not traded before the deadline, the Sox will cash in on him assuming he stays healthy. And honestly, I’d kid glove the hell out of him if he’s not moved.
  19. That’s certainly what I wanted and It would have made a ton of sense, but what they did sure worked. Sure this situation sucks, but you’re still sitting on a gold mine this winter if he’s not moved next few days.
  20. More like 3x. I don’t think Eflin and Feddes returns should be comparable at all.
  21. Biggest news here is at least 10 teams interested. That’s going to get you a nice package.
  22. Very well could be others piggybacking the Heyman report. Look, I don’t doubt Crochet has those feelings. I just don’t think they really matter too much.
  23. I suppose so, but I don’t think he’d be doing himself any favors or increasing his FV by doing so.
