  1. Sure, but heck of a lot better than Rushing, Ferris and Freeland.
  2. I'd need something like Rushing, DePaula, Ryan/Hurt. Freeland and Outman for Crochet and Pham. Give them a reliever too if needed. It would hurt for LAD, but Crochet should be incredibly valuable and they don't have any elite prospects.
  3. This. Luis Robert is generational talent. Selling low on him would be insane. I understand the risk of holding, and I am fine with it. Don't get me wrong, I am fine trading Robert but the return needs to be massive. He puts in a season comparable to 2023 the first half of next season, and he's worth considerably more than he is right now. And Robert is certainly capable of putting in a better season than 2023.
  4. Lack of hitting is the major one. Being a Catcher, that might not stick at catcher, and doesn't have a bat to profile at 1B. Sox need an ELITE prospect to headline a Crochet deal. He is not that. I would be pretty pissed at the return Jimmy hinted.
  5. That feels light for Crochet, imo. Rushing would be a disappointing centerpiece for several reasons.
  6. I wasn’t really referring to Robert and Crochet. I personally wouldn’t trade Robert unless it’s a massive package and it doesn’t sound like that’s gonna happen right now. The offers should be there for Crochet. Sox have a lot of other guys to move though. If they try to cram it all into the last 24 hours, we’re gonna be holding the bag on some dudes that were immensely moveable.
  7. Clock is ticking with a lot of trades to make. Hope the actions starts here soon..
  8. Ehhh. Thorpe is a stud, and mgiht already be a more effective overall pitcher than Cease (albeit much less flashy). The supporting pieces are also pretty solid.
  9. I don't understand this take. On pace for an over 4 fWAR season. Sub 3 ERA. Baseball reference somehow has Fedde on pace for more like 6.5 WAR (4.7 currently, behind only Skubal in the AL). Controlled for another season at a super cheap $7.5M. Fedde should return a very nice prospect (40-75 range), plus a supporting piece in a club's top 10.
  10. I don't think this would get you even close.
  11. melton has been terrible above A ball.
  12. I think it simply means they’re back with the major meanie club and not currently rehabbing.
  13. TBf, Luis Robert makes sense for every baseball team on this planet.
  14. FWIW- Moncada hasn’t played in a week and Pedro mentioned he may have had some sort of set back a few days ago.
  15. Point being, that would be a hell of a lottery ticket. I think we're talking more AAAA guy or super low level flyer for Pham. I would imagine that LAD values Outman quite a bit more than that. If they dont, well then that's my point.
  16. If the Dodgers moved Outman for 2+ months of Pham, i'd have literally no confidence whatsoever that Outman could ever be a productive major leaguer again.
  17. Is TA going to be done with baseball? Anyone could sign him for the pro-rated min, or a minor league deal and nothing. Crazy to think this was possible 2 years ago.
  18. I don't think that the Sox are going to move Robert this summer (maybe moreso hoping they won't at this point). They have too much control to sell low. I understand the injury risk, but they control him 3.5 more seasons. I feel like they can get the same for him in the winter following the 2025 season than they could right now. Its a shame he's been fairly meh this season.
  19. I don’t think Sox will have any issue getting a top 100 piece for Fedde. He’s been awesome, is cheap and comes with another season of control. The cheaper teams should all be in on him.
  20. I'd need most of the Dodgers farm system to even consider it. Its a non-starter, imo.
  21. Leasure spent about 3 weeks in AAA. I don’t really care to do the math right now, but he should be just under a full year of service should be spend the balance of the season on the IL.
  22. This is it for me. I’m cashing in my winnings asap. I’m totally good with moving Crochet for the right offer.
  23. Im not trading him to the Dodgers unless it’s a gross overpay. Don’t like their options. Something like Pages, Depaula, Rushing, Ryan and a flyer. Then maybe trade Rushing in another deal now or in the winter.
