This could be said in the late 80s, and during the strike, and the white flag trade, and early 2010s. This really isn't new. They have their way and don't much care about making the fanbase happy. And probably isn't unique to the White Sox org.
Sox also didn’t seem to have much competition in the Machado fiasco either. Let’s hope they learned something, though I can’t even put much faith in that sentiment.
I'm mentally preparing for the "We like what we have" quote from Hahn when Conforto goes elsewhere and they don't trade for a SP. Keeping hope alive but my expectations aren't high.
