If his market is depressed at all by a down year, an opt out after 1 makes sense. Maybe they are holding out for a 5th year with the same opt outs. Who knows.

I haven't seen Conforto's name attached to any team beyond fans wishing for it. It kind of odd IMO.

They deserve credit where its due, but they've had more misses post rebuild that hits. It is completely fair to criticize them for their mistakes and poor resource allocation. I think we could all do without the constant rehashing of those mistakes, but that's probably too much to ask of this board.

I have definitely lowered my expectations and grown frustrated at past spending patterns returning. I haven’t lost all hope yet but I’m getting close. Sucks to be mentally preparing myself to not expect more than a division title as the season dawns.
