Yes, but normal commuting from point A to point B is far less of a risk than a motor bike, or driving a race car 200mph. Some things are common sense.

And that's a valid question, but not one that I'd risk waiting to find the answer to. We aren't in a normal offseason and the number of bidders makes it feel like a bit of a wild card. I wouldn't mess around and low ball or incrementally bump it up, I would start with a stronger opening bid in hopes I could lock him up quick.

If this were a normal winter, I would open at $4/80 but wouldn't be afraid to jump to 5/$110 with an opt out. In this compacted FA before camp I'd probably be more aggressive and try to meet his number faster. Conforto is the fit we need and the team is a young hungry division champ. I'd be selling him on all of that but with the dollars to seal the deal.

Abreu retires a White Sox IMO, so I think he's on the roster as long as he wants to keep playing. I see a 2 year + option after his current deal is up. I hope the dollars are rational/reasonable but I don't think they refuse to offer him a deal in any way.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but DVS linked those players to RF. Hahn doesn't say anything about them playing the field in the clip. He may have later, but we don't know for sure. And we all should be familiar enough with Hahn-speak at this point not to read too much into the words coming out of his mouth.

Palk Smash had some fun dingers for terrible teams. At this point I'm not convinced Sheets isn't on par with that and I'm certainly not making roster decisions because of him. He also play's RF with about the same prowess as Palka. I'm not dumping him for nothing but those that act like he's the second coming need to slow their respective rolls just a bit.

Curious if he addressed RF later in the interview. The clip makes no mention, but I sure hope they have other plans.
