  1. Yeah, that game is a loss either way. My concern is going forward is he seems to think it's ok to bench an entire group of 5 players based on 2 minutes of play, and those 2 minutes weren't even noticeably bad
  2. Perhaps. I can at least see the merit for it. But the second time? Not at all. It was 2 minutes. They looked fine, and the bench guys looked way worse. It seems like his priority is to embarrass the starters and keep them from developing. I'm not a fan of that.
  3. Jim Boylen is awful. Bulls started the game down 17-0, he pulls all 5 starters 5 minutes into it. That's fine on the surface, but everything was dropping for the Celtics and the Bulls were getting good looks that just weren't falling. Then in the second half, the Bulls are losing the quarter by a score of 5-3, everything seems normal, and Boylen pulls everybody again, this time after about 2 minutes. Great way to lose a locker room before you've even won it over. They never saw the floor again, the starters played 7 minutes + whatever they got in the 2nd quarter. The bench was much worse.
  4. It only took a few weeks for Jimmy to cause problems in Philly! Yesterday Embiid admitted that he's a tough fit on their roster and that it makes things harder for him
  5. So he'd be a free agent right now. He'd probably be in that Bryce/Manny tier, too
  6. What I believe you're missing is that peavy44 was not the source. He was just passing the source along. That said, you can still question the source all you want, but there is a big difference between a guy referencing an outside source and then imploding versus a guy making his own claims without outside support... and then imploding
  7. Of course. Personally, I believe I do know who the friend is, but we indeed do not know if the person is telling the truth. My point is that the demise of peavy has no bearing on the quality of the information he shared. He and the source are not connected in any way whatsoever.
  8. So because the poster was erratic and annoying, people are going to now disregard everything the source said? They're completely independent of each other, the source still said what he said and knows who he knows.
  9. I'm not buying what peavy said, but I do think the guy he was quoting might actually know something. It isn't "his" source, he just happened to stumble upon him and claimed him as his own. The reality is that any of us in that group now have access to anything that guy says.
  10. Now that the picture is out in circulation again I'll say this. There is a lot being discussed here that is not claimed by the "source". The barbershop, any exact numbers, us having the best offer, etc. But he did claim that we met with Harper twice in Vegas (the 19th and once more the following week), Harper prefers to play in Chicago, and the White Sox are very motivated to get it done. He claims he heard it from Harper's friend, and I did find that he indeed knows multiple people who are close to Bryce Harper. Whether they actually told him all this cannot be known, but he absolutely knows the people he claims to know.
  11. Not just that, but he has posted plenty of photos of himself in Chicago and how much he enjoys it, he was a Blackhawks fan before the Golden Knights came around, he is a Bulls fan, etc.
  12. Thanks, I'll add, however, that what made me optimistic about his story after research was not at all about what Ron Kittle allegedly said, but purely the source himself and his connections
  13. There's a lot of misinformation in here now. About 25% of what is being discussed was actually said by the guy. The rest is speculation that is now being attributed to him
  14. Tim Anderson openly recruiting Machado in the comments of Machado's latest Instagram post.
  15. Yup. I don't blame you for being skeptical. I was too before I looked into it more. I'm not saying this guy is 100% indisputably telling the truth or anything, but I at least think there's a reasonable chance he knows what he's talking about.
  16. Example: Just a mere week ago when some random guy on Twitter broke the Colome trade the night before it happened. Lately, random social media presences have actually been decent at breaking news. The problem is that for every correct post, there are a hundred BS ones
  17. The source was a guy who claims to know a close friend of Harper. I initially wrote it off as BS but looked into it some more and found that the guy actually knows the people he claims to know. That's as specific as I can be
  18. FWIW I have reason to believe that the source Peavy44 posted earlier is actually legitimate, in the sense that he would indeed be able to hear rumors and whatnot from Harper's camp
