  1. The measurements can definitely be wrong in sports sometimes, an example being that Kevin Durant is 7’0- which is pretty well known- but he’s listed at 6’9 because he finds it funny. As for these two, there’s really no evidence to support them being 5’11.
  2. I was on the Delmonico > Palka > Davidson train a month or so ago but now I’m definitely leaning towards Palka > Delmonico > Davidson.
  3. Kyle Schwarber is good now though
  4. Roster rankings with literally no weight for upside are pretty much useless to me. I understand that upside may be overrated in regular rankings but it still matters a lot. I'd take Luis Robert and his ceiling over the vast majority of those guys.
  5. Don't get me wrong, I really like Mahomes. Way more than Watson or Jimmy G, in fact. My point was more that every week, there's a new young QB that Trubisky is being unfavorably compared to, and now it happens to be Mahomes.
  6. Because that logic just doesn't work in reality. The Bears could trade for Aaron Rodgers this afternoon. With your logic, Aaron Rodgers would then "suck". You just can't use the "because X happened before, X is going to happen once again" line of thinking when it's just not something that can be proven mathematically, but rather is more likely just sheer luck.
  7. If I had to make a complaint re:Nagy, his clock management on the drive to end the 2nd quarter was abysmal. The Seahawks' field goal to end the half is 100% on him.
  8. Replace "Mahomes" in every post with "Watson" and that's what you had last year. NFL fans are so reactionary. We're literally years from knowing who's better between Mahomes, Watson, and Trubisky.
  9. A full season (next year) of what we've seen since June for Anderson would make him a top 5 defensive shortstop in baseball.
  10. But the other 8 teams that I listed do. DSJ/Doncic/Barnes/Jordan is a pretty good core. Not as good as LeBron/Ingram/Kuzma/Ball, but good enough that depth and coaching can make them a contender for the 8 seed
  11. Then I guess people are gonna be really surprised when the Lakers either miss the playoffs or lose to GSW/Rockets in the first round. I didn't know that people were high on them for this season
  12. His 2nd hit yesterday was encouraging. It was a routine grounder to first that he hustled out and turned into a single. Not that hustling was ever a problem, but we all thought he’d have a few hits a season that are purely due to speed and that was one of them
  13. Apparently they want Jose Rondon to play the outfield. Maybe he’ll be the super-sub
  14. Debatable. I understand your point but I don't know if they're still a playoff team. For this season, I'd argue that the Warriors, Rockets, Jazz, Thunder, Pelicans, Blazers, Timberwolves, Nuggets, and maybe Mavericks have better rosters. The West is just a bloodbath and LeBron might not be enough for the Lakers to sneak in ahead of more complete teams
  15. If his defense is that bad, we should sign Grandal to catch (trade Castillo for whatever you can get), keep Omar as the backup, and have Collins eventually be the 1B/DH and spell the catchers a few times a month. The Evan Gattis role (circa 2016). I think the bat will play.
