I agree with this, and I'll add that I think Abreu will be our ASG representative over Moncada.

And those people were ignoring positive trends and just being reactionary. It should be obvious to anyone who watches him that Moncada will be a high WAR player despite his high strikeout rate

I get where you're coming from, but I don't know why he'd want to hurt his new team. If he does want to win, he'd know that he's a huge asset defensively at 3B and a liability at SS. If he really gets his $350 mil, I can definitely see him moving back to third.

Worth noting that Machado is actually a horrible defensive SS. Both this year and in his other MLB stints. Tim Anderson has graded out as better defensively so far. If he comes here, I think the choice is easy to make him play 3B.

Yeah I saw that. The 20 game sample of Baez turning into Mike Trout offensively really messed with their minds. Prior to this season, even Yolmer Sanchez graded as a better player than Baez.

Questionable managing by Seattle too. I feel more comfortable with Nicky facing a guy like Rzepczynski than a hard throwing righty. It's not like he has a R/L split issue
