  1. Clearly, the guy is just here to get people riled up with illogical whataboutisms, and he's not much better during baseball season. The sooner people realize this and stop quoting him, the less we who have him ignored have to read his nonsense
  2. I don't know if it's the circumstances of the pandemic making me easier to please or if I misjudged your comedic traits in the past, but your humorous retorts have truly been a pleasure to read lately
  3. Asylum-seekers aren't illegal and making something bold doesn't make it true
  4. Why this isn't universally agreed upon is beyond me.
  5. Relevant: Coronavirus will change the world permanently. Here's how.
  6. That's interesting. In the western suburbs of Chicago, I still haven't been able to find soap, hand sanitizer, any cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc. for a few weeks. Luckily I had all of it well before this hit, so I'll be fine, but I'm surprised that your stores are already back to normal.
  7. Honestly, I wouldn’t even waste your time responding to trolls/conspiracy theorists, especially given what you’ve been through and the great info you’ve been providing us. People like that will believe what they want to believe no matter what anyone else can say, unfortunately
  8. Socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor.
  9. After a few days of refusal, my school (University of Chicago) is finally moving to online classes once our finals weeks (now and next week) are over, but no word on how they plan to do so without screwing over international students. Seems like every major college is beginning to do the same now.
  10. Won't teams be flying back and forth from Florida and Arizona though, unless they change the schedule?
  11. What I'm struggling to understand (and it's an idea I'm seeing more on Twitter than here) is how playing games at neutral sites or in Arizona is any better than playing games as scheduled but with no crowds
  12. Agreed. I think he's gonna be the main in-season acquisition
  13. No it's not
  14. It's always interesting to see how eternal pessimists can find inventive ways to contort undeniably good news
  15. The odds of the White Sox not being fully aware of this hypothetical Moncada "injury" before guaranteeing him $70 million are 0.
  16. 6/90 is nice. I expected 6/100-105. Now do Giolito
  17. Nah, even if Madrigal were tearing the cover off the ball, this was/is a real need IMO.
  18. Nice way to get out of that. Assuming he's done, that's a fine ST debut
  19. If he could be at least below-average with the bat (rather than one of the worst in the league on that end) I'd love him as a backup. Above-average and you're talking about a starting CF.
